Comments: As M.E.C.H. is shown going into action it is one fast paced thrill ride to excitement. He moves with purpose. The initial set-up of the character is something unique in comics.
The art does have a Jack Kirby feel to it. The characters are drawn with lots of muscles. The laboratory or base for M.E.C.H. is designed well.
M.E.C.H. has a different way of rescuing an aircraft. It is unexpected.
In Chapter Two the story really starts out with a mind blowing scene. The M.E.C.H. robot seems alive and Tommy we see is scared and has no idea what to do since the robot should not be able to move without him controlling it. What is going on? Is this real? It does seem like it.
At times the art does lack in focus on the people. It needs a tighter fit, not just to flow as one body but to show that body is made up of more than one part.
The Compu-M.E.C.H. program is dangerous for its user Tommy. Being a super-hero does come at a cost. Dr. Green and Tommy work as a team to make this project work.
There is a wonderfully illustrated pin-up style page of M.E.C.H. above the city. He is posed over looking it as Tommy and Dr. Green look on.
Tommy and Dr. Green both need to have full names. The characters do need to be explored more.
We are given a brief origin story which is short and to the point.
This is a great first issue overall and you see M.E.C.H. and he is a hero for the future. Tommy and the M.E.C.H. mesh well forming one super-hero that will have you wanting to see more of him in action.

Comments: Mr. Koshido plans to conquer the US and the world. Mr. Koshido has a several pronged attack going. His body armor bulks him up into a muscle bound powerhouse.
Spelling and grammar needed to be checked.
M.E.C.H. goes into action. Against a army of robots and the armored Mr. Koshido he is being hard pushed. The backside of Mr. Koshido's armor is drawn wobbly as metal it should be more curved with rounded lines.
Working with Dr. Green Tommy aka M.E.C.H. takes on the Kobots the robots being used for conquering. There is action just it does not come across as exciting as you would expect from a world conquering villain and his army facing a super-hero.
As M.E.C.H. is returning home he is attacked. The two page spread is a great action shot.
The Presidents eyes are drawn off with one centered and one off to the far side. Neither Tommy or Dr. Green are given full names and we learn nothing about either outside of the M.E.C.H. program. Do they have lives outside of it? What did they do before the program?
The M.E.C.H. robot is being flown by Tommy and than its shot and than they are in the lab safe. How did that happen?
Tommy gets a last name here.
Here we see a different battle taking place inside the M.E.C.H. robot as Tommy fights a virus.
M.E.C.H. makes for a great hero as he stands for what is right.

Comments: The wildlife at the North Pole is illustrated well giving the reader a sense of the wilderness. Something is happening there and M.E.C.H. is sent to investigate.
The M.E.C.H. body is a powerfully illustrated one. He looks ready for action. The big muscles make him appear strong especially his leg muscles. Tommy the human side of M.E.C.H. is drawn lumpy he could use more definition to his body and face.
The Polar Bear drawings make it look almost like a wolf as much as it does as a bear. M.E.C.H. is drawn in a great pose flying at the North Pole. Now something extremely unusual happens to M.E.C.H. at the North Pole he is attacked and by what you will not believe.
The art between the chapters is awesome. M.E.C.H. is illustrated as a super hero that looks like a warrior.
Tommy and Lesa start to fall in love here. You can feel the connection forming.
The colors throughout the comic are all so beautifully done.
A villain unleashes three vile monsters on the city. These things are big strong, green and very destructive. They have a target.
As M.E.C.H. Tommy has a multitude of powers and access to many weapons. Teleporting is one of them and very useful.
A thief is illustrated on one cool motorcycle. This thief has a good heart he just does not know what to do. Still a thief is a thief.
Tommy aka M.E.C.H. is a super hero unlike any other. M.E.C.H. will thrill you with his exciting adventures.

Comments: There is a creature in the Pacific Ocean and it is huge and menacing. The colors on it are done so well. They are bright and bold.
The recap shows M.E.C.H. as a hero which he is. The art and the poses used clearly bring across his character.
The underwater suit for M.E.C.H. is a nice design. As M.E.C.H. auto piloted by Tommy dives into the ocean to retrieve the radioactive canister you know he is on a collision course with that terrifying monstrous creature. The suspense is built up.
As M.E.C.H. fights the creature you can feel the deadly danger that it presents.
M.E.C.H. also gets to take on some smugglers. There is lots of action here.
A rich man, Ralph Lark finds himself stranded on an island. As M.E.C.H. starts his search for Ralph he is illustrated in a beautifully rendered pose floating in the sky. Than as M.E.C.H. finds Ralph he also finds a tiger and uses a unique way to defeat it.
One thing that stands out in this issue and the previous ones is that Dr. Green and Tommy both want to help others. Both are pure in what they wish to achieve.
Tommy using M.E.C.H. has declared war on illegal weapons. Now though they are fighting back the criminals with those illegal weapons.
This comic is full of all out action in the Mighty Monolith Style you do not want to miss this.

Comments: "War Against Illegal Arms!" The colors are eye popping here. They really do jump out at you. The coloring on Lesa Mace's hair is stunning.
Tommy is in a situation that affects not just him but others. Others threaten those close to him and with Dr. Green's support he acts.
M.E.C.H. is drawn in some hard hitting action as he takes on the military. M.E.C.H. comes into this battle knowing what to do and how to win. It is great to see him so prepared.
A doctor works hard to cure his son and you get a sense of the love he has for him. Here we see the creation of a new villain the Death Shroud. He has a maniacal presence. When M.E.C.H. engages him it is different and more difficult fighting a man with super powers. This battle ends differently than you would expect. Death Shroud is a villain that you will want to see again.
As M.E.C.H. teleports something different happens and he finds himself back in prehistory time. The animals are large and rough looking. M.E.C.H. is looking rough in how he is drawn as well. The Wooly Mammoths now these are so well drawn you need to see these. The story throws in a interesting twist just for fun.
Tommy and his using the M.E.C.H. unit are all about helping others. As you read about M.E.C.H. you will find your respect for this hero growing. He is all about caring about and helping others.
