Comments: Betty and Veronica talk what they did during summer vacation and some of the things that happened you will not believe. They also chat about what is to come. It is easy to see these to are best friends.
The art style has a touch of class to it. It is stylish which does not completely suit the characters. The people are drawn boring with listless faces.
Betty and Veronica are thinking about which University to attend and they want to go to the same one.
What is going on with Betty and Veronica and Reggie and Archie? This comic is certainly different than other Archie comics. The way the characters are handled. The situations that arise. It seems to have a more realistic outlook on life in Riverdale.
One thing that seems clear no matter who splits up or stays together or what life throws at them Betty and Veronica are staying best friends forever.

Comments: Veronica Lodge is working. Yes she has a job. She is a Editorial Intern at Sparkle.
The art is flat and lifeless. If you did not know this was a comic about Betty and Veronica you would never recognize them. All the characters do not look at all how you would expect.
There is drama and more drama. Everyone is getting ready for College. Betty and Veronica are both having so many problems and dealing with the people around them and their family. Betty's other friends are upset with her causing Betty worries. The whole overall comic is a downer.
This re-imaging of these two BFF's fails. It is a look at the sad lives of the two girls. They have so much yet are so unhappy. The only thing that seems to make them happy and brings some joy into their lives is each other. They are BFF's forever.

Comments: The art is so awful. It is amateurish on a level you would not expect from Archie Comics.
The comic starts out all gloom. All the gang have grown so much apart it is sad to see. None of them are really talking to each other. The tension caused by Betty and Veronica not talking to each other is so thick. Things just seem to be going wrong for Veronica. The bad going to worse. Its all doom and gloom.
Finally Betty and Veronica talk to each other and you know this will help settle things down some. Yet they still have secrets from each other.
This is a completely different take on the characters you know and love. It just seems so off from what you might expect.
Things have not fully settled down and with secrets still around they are not likely to. The teen drama is high and here with our teens entering into adulthood and moving onto college things will change more.
At least this issue does have the one hi-light of Betty and Veronica hugging each other in friendship.

Comments: The art is lack luster. It is so plain and drab.
The drama starts right away Betty and Veronica are worrying about going to Pickens College and about going to the Riverdale High Prom. Veronica has decided she wants more out of life and to be so by giving back.
Reggie has a heart of gold. We see here how loving and caring he really is. Reggie is a nice guy and Veronica sees how much he is hurting and reaches out to him. Veronica has grown as a person.
Veronica has grown into a beautiful person.
Betty and Veronica are best friends forever and here we see all their drama coming out and the one thing that comes out the most above all else is that they are friends first and foremost.
It is great to have an Archie Comic that focuses on others besides him. Betty and Veronica do take center stage.

Comments: It is graduation. All the students are making plans for what to do next. Some to go to college. Than there's Betty so selfless and caring. What she does is so amazing. Reggie well you will not believe his plans. These two are wonderful people.
It is great to see the gang standing up for each other.
Betty is such a delight as she knows what she wants with her life. Her focus will warm your heart.
The art is plain. It is simple with no frills.
Veronica's career choice you will never believe. Not is a million years.
Betty and Veronica no matter what will stay BFF's this is not a promise it is a fact. You will believe it and you will feel the love they share for each other.
