Comments: Amy is just your average teenage girl. She has all the troubles of one to plus. The art throughout this comic is done in a cute style that fits the characters.
We get to follow along as Amy lives her life and her life is so interesting. The way the simple things are told make them such fun to read about and see. Amy and her BFF Kat get crushes on boys which leads to more fun.
When good things happen for Amy you will be cheering for her and it might just bring a tear of happiness to your eye. Amy like most teen girls is unsure of what she wants and as far as being in love its all new to her. Than it gets more complicated as things usual do. Amy is doing things she knows she should not. She should be honest and trusting.
Amy does grow up over the course of this book. She gets her first love, she accepts her mom's new boyfriend and her friendship with Kat becomes stronger. Amy at times may wish she was an alien but she is all to human and flawed like all the rest of us. Which makes her normal ordinary teenage girl.

Comments: Amy is back at school and trying to forget her ex boyfriend. Amy is a young teenage girl and we follow her life which is that of your average girl. She has friends and school just like anyone else. She also hates her mother's boyfriend.
The art shows her as a cute girl. All the art is done in a cartoon style that makes the story fun. The colors are beautifully done.
Amy does experience young love. She is unsure about somethings yet she does keep going.
Amy has to change school and she does get to go where she wants to. She than gets ready for her first day. Her and her friend have fun getting ready together. Amy has some interesting days at school. The people she meets are interested in her. Boys play a big part in her life.
Amy is in a poetry reading contest and her poem will bring tears to your eyes. The feeling in it is heartbreaking.
Amy is still adjusting to her dad's death and sometimes it does get hard on her and her mother having a new boyfriend is not easy either. Frank the boyfriend is a wonderful guy but to Amy he is not her dad. Amy is sad over the fact her dad is no longer there with her but she does go on and lives her life.
You will sympathize with Amy and her situations. This is one wonderful young lady and she lets you be a part of her lfe here in this book.

Comments: Amy is having a dental check up. What fun. It is hard to talk with someone's fingers in your mouth.
Amy is dating John and friends with her ex Nick. She does have an amusing way of looking at events in her drama filled life. Than she is dating Tommy who comes out of nowhere and she is still interested in Nick her ex. She is kissing with three different guys.
Amy's life is so filled with drama. Her love life and her relationships with friends all cause her happiness and grief.
We do see Amy growing and maturing. Her life and everything around her does change. She even gets a job after she gets her life back on track. Things are going good for her.
Amy is just your average every day teenage girl. Her life is filled with ups and downs and she struggles through it all. She is lucky to have family and friends that love her.
This book lets young teen girls identify with the character readily and parents will gain a keen insight into the character and how a young teen girl looks at life.
Amy is looking for love. She does have many trails and tribulations trying to find it.
You will fall in love with this girl and cheer for her as life treats her right and feel for her when it does not.
