Comments: We start in outer space and the art and especially the colors are amazing. Than we switch to a police chase. Than at the observatory we see Dr. Marisa Stringfellow and she knows something is wrong.
Something terrible is happening to people. They are coming down with something or something is taking control of them.
This issue does set up for what is to come. It explains things for the most part. The alien though is alien and it has a unique way of attacking. As it possess a human the look is unnerving and startling.
The town that is close to the observatory is in for a invasion by this alien and it has already started as the horror builds. Aliens are scary but having one on the loose and killing is scarier by far.
The last panel is a masterpiece of art showing you what to expect in the coming issues.

Comments: Aldous Huxley has a vision in the desert and years later he returns there. Once there he has a episode. What exactly is happening to him?
At the observatory something happened. One man possessed goes for a walk and all hell breaks loose. The art is beautifully done and brings out the insanity of the possessed man. This thing whatever it is is spreading like a disease. The alien just keeps going and its up to a astrophysicist and an L.A. county sheriff to stop it if they can.
Could this small start be the start of the end of the world? The story could be more focused and present itself so it is more easy to understand what is going on. Plus more of an explanation as to what this alien is and where it came from would be nice.
Marisa Stringfellow and Lieutenant Pinkerton find themselves in a battle to stop the alien. They have figured out its plan yet have no idea how to stop it. You will be left wondering what is coming next? How will our two heroes stop the alien and save the world?

Comments: Marisa is trying to handle the situation as the hive mind has taken over Josh and others.
The effects in the illustrations for the people possessed are outstanding. The lighting effect on their chests and heads is a beautiful work of art.
Marisa Stringfellow and Lieutenant Pinkerton keep working together on this alien menace thing. There is a mystery going on and it is growing. The alien menace is growing as well. Things are moving along and you are a part of it. This ride is speeding up.
The alien causes a loss for Marisa one that does cause her pain. Marisa though carries on as she is a hard determined lady.
The story needs a little more explanation to it.
The possessed people though are an amazing sight you will want to see for yourself. Don't twitch or you might miss it but it will not miss you.

Comments: Pinkerton is possessed. Other people are to. It is spreading. Pinkerton and Marisa find themselves surrounded. Things are getting extremely dangerous for our stars.
The possessed people become like zombies. Can a couple of people save the human race from this alien threat?
The zombie possessed people are drawn with a pasty quality. There eyes and words tell you they are possessed. The scary part is that they can and are taking over ordinary people who can do nothing to stop them.
The mystery is this comic is good up to a point but the reader does need to be informed somewhat on what is going on and why. Also to know more about the antagonist.
Pinkerton, Marisa and Hooper find themselves on the run and in the fight of their lives. The action is revving up as they race into danger.

Comments: The alien mind virus is taking over and destroying the town. Ronnie and Marisa are the last hope to keep this from spreading. A husband and wife must muster all their bravery to face this threat that could spell the end of humanity.
The aliens do try their best to get into Ronnie's head. Their presence is a a quiet danger that builds up.
The whole issue is to laid back. It needed more excitement even the final confrontation is boring.
It is nice to see ordinary type people fighting against an extra ordinary threat.
The story needed more to it. We needed to learn more about these aliens. Where they are from, what their purpose is. Some mystery is great but all mystery is not.
Ronnie is a great character. He and his wife are ones you will sympathize with.
