Comments: This is a more mature and drama filled book. Cheryl has a atmosphere around her that is thick with menace. Jason has a way about him as well one of quiet confidence. He knows he is going to get what he wants.
The Blossom twins are having a pool party yet you can sense that something sinister is in the air.
Cheryl and Jason have a truth or dare game and it is unlike any you have seen. The questions they ask are nothing like what you would expect. Does Cheryl ever up the anti for Dilton.
This comic is serious with no humor. It is like a soap opera for devil worshipers. It moves along at a good pace but not that much is happening throughout the issue until the last page.
The atmospheric setting for the twins is well done and it gives the comic a touch of an evil presence.

Comments: The Blossom twins are cute while they tease each other about how bad they have been. These two twins have a look to them in the art and the way they are used brings across the fact evil is present.
Cheryl has gotten her claws into Dilton. What did she do to him? He is acting differently.
Betty finds Ethel and makes a startling discovery. Meanwhile the Blossom siblings make plans for Betty. Can Betty stand against the corrupting influence of the twins. Can Betty stand against even more?
A new player enters the field in this issue. Their appearance is enough to shake things up imagine when they really get started doing things.
There is a lot of doom and gloom in this series. The Blossom twins though balance it out with their delightful attitude of positiveness. You know they are evil yet it is hard not to like them.
The evil does slowly build. You can feel it seeping into the pages and then out of them at you.

Comments: A big secret was revealed and continues here with the ramifications. The Blossom teens are up to something and it is not good. Cheryl is a manipulator and she strikes at Veronica.
Betty is showing her concern for her friends. Betty meets Julian. Betty is a target in this story. The Blossoms are after her. Can her friends help her? Can she look after herself?
You do see the evil around and feel its presence through the Blossoms. It is not in your face horror evil here yet rather a subdued form in the background. The Blossom children do have away of insinuating themselves into other people's lives.
The art does bring out that evil presence in the Blossom children as they are shown. When you see them you know instantly something is going on with them, something sinister.
It would be nice to see some actual magic not just manipulations of people.
It is nice to have an Archie comic that is focused on Cheryl and Jason and the Blossoms in general. It will be interesting to see which one is the Anti-Christ.

Comments: We are shown the different upbringing between the triplets. Jason, Cheryl had a life of privilege and Julian did not. as you see the differences side by side you will feel for Julian.
Jason and Cheryl certainly do not have any love lost between them. Yet they do have a common enemy. Cheryl has been busy corrupting others. All three of the triplets want to corrupt one innocent teen. The most innocent of them all.
What is up with Archie? Has he been corrupted, it seems so.
Machinations are going on all over Riverdale. You can feel the evil growing the more the story progresses. The characters though do not really fit into this type of story. Even Jason and Cheryl who have always been the bad teens were never shown totally evil as we are meant to believe here.
Cheryl is cute in her pretensions to be the ultimate evil.

Comments: Is everyone under the Blossoms control? They are a evil group of siblings. Cheryl and Jason are a sister and brother combo that will make you cringe.
The Blossoms are making their move and people are falling. The Blossoms do have a way of corrupting everything even each other. People are dying and the Anti-Christ is coming. Cheryl and Jason either one of them would make a great messia for the coming apocalypse. Either one possess the killer instinct and total uncaring attitude. Of course only one can be the Anti-Christ.
The characters of Betty and Jughead are depressing. Some of the other main characters are not in this issue. Jughead is drawn very depressed looking. Betty seems lifeless. The Blossom twins now they are drawn brimming with life.
The atmosphere is of a quiet evil rising.
This has a disappointing ending to this series. It leaves you hanging.
