Comments: This issue is a seventeen page lead into the regular series.
Sheena is strong, silent and swift. She protects the Amazon jungle. She is portrayed as very superstitious which does fit in living in the jungle. The art shows her as a lithe beauty in her loin cloth outfit.
Sheena enters an ancient ruin hidden deep in the jungle. Sheena enters it to protect it. In one scene while she is inside it, her hand is surrounded by a blue glow of energy and no reason is given. The illustrations of the ruins are great.
The temple ruins, the vines within it seem to attack her.
Sheena is a fighter and this story shows her in a more realistic way. She is agile and strong but not super humanly so.
This issue is a good introduction to the series to come.

Comments: Drones are being used to spy on Sheena’s home. To what purpose? She is drawn with a childish face. The poses she is in do not show off her body at all. Her six pack is drawn with just straight lines across her stomach, no contour or shape to them.
Armed man invade Sheena’s tribe’s village. They want a surveyor that was sent out into the jungle and will kill Sheena’s tribe unless she finds him.
Sheena finally is illustrated in a few good poses near the end of the comic.
The Cadwell company wants something in the jungle and will stop at nothing to get it.
Sheena is shown moving easily through the jungle.
The story needs more to it, to explain why people want Sheena’s jungle. The art is lacking in some aspects. Sheena is a beauty that needs to be shown off better.
A savage girl running around the jungle in a loin cloth protecting it from intruders is always a good basis for a story.

Comments: Sheena is drawn lithe and her physical prowess is shown off. The art at times is drawn plain.
Sheena searches for a surveyor and is joined by Chano another person seeking the surveyor. A pack of wild jaguars attacks them. The big cats are illustrated beautifully. Here Sheena shows a power that she has to communicate with animals. The art showing this leaves you wondering how did she get it and what does it mean.
Sheena and Chano find something interesting in the deep forest. It is a surprise.
A proofreader was needed on this comic.
The colors are done in a nice subdued manner.
In the forest Sheena and Chano find danger and it comes up out of nowhere to attack in a sneaky slow insidious way.
Sheena is doing what she can to protect her people, her village, her forest. The more you learn about her the more you will like her. This jungle girl has a beautiful soul.

Comments: Death Blossoms attack. Sheena and her friend are in grave danger. They make it into the temple only to find even more danger.
The temple holds many secrets and they are attacking Sheena and her friend. Many deadly threats are awakened as they entered the temple.
Sheena is drawn as a savage jungle beauty with a feminine side. She looks amazing in a loincloth.
After they face several threats within the temple they start being stalked by creatures most foul. These things are monstrously evil.
Sheena has both the personality of a warrior and a child here. She seems so innocent yet knows all that goes on around her. She knows the beauty of the jungle and the evils of it and of men.
Lots of suspense and action here as our heroine makes her way through the temple. The jungle adventures have just begun.

Comments: Face Stealers stalk Sheena and Chano. They are pursued through the ancient temple by these vile creatures.
The art has a smooth look to it which lacks details on Chano. On Sheena she is drawn with a lithe body and cute face.
Sheena is more than just a cute girl. She fights both Face Stealers and Venom Blossoms plus actually comes up with a plan to fight them. They were called Death Blossoms in the previous issue.
This issue there are butt shots of Sheena’s butt. It is illustrated very well.
The danger amps up here as monsters are unleashed in the jungle. Face Stealers roam free and attack all in their path. The excitement builds as does the deadly danger to Sheena and all who live here. The ending is a cliffhanger that will draw you back for more.

Comments: Sheena is illustrated with some nice facial expressions and so are the Face Stealers. Sheena is shown with a nice lithe body. Her costume and hair as well as skin tones are all done in earthy tones that work very well. Some of the male faces are drawn plain.
The Face Stealers are pouring out of the pit. They will destroy the world unless Sheena stops them. The action does get intense. The odds are stacked against Sheena.
Chano shows his bravery. He makes a great sidekick for Sheena.
Sheena is drawn moving fluidly in battle as she cuts into the Face Stealers.
There is a gorgeous pin-up style page. Sheena is surrounded by the Face Stealers and also has some beautifully colored birds flying around her.
Sheena is the Protector of the jungle and she has proven she will fight for it and its people. Sheena is one brave woman in a loin cloth leopard print.

Comments: A lush jungle and beautiful colors are in the background setting the scene. Sheena and the jungle natives do look great, the bodies on them are amazing and lithe, the faces need more detail though accept in the close ups.
A Huntress hunts for Sheena and brings rot to the jungle plants as she searches. Sheena goes to seek this Huntress and is joined by her friend Lirio.
This issue goes on and on with Sheena blaming herself for everything that goes wrong in the jungle. It gets annoying.
The Mapinguari is a monster of the jungle and it is illustrated to terrify. The battle between it and Sheena is fierce. There is one really outstanding pose of Sheena crouched and ready to strike.
There is a good amount of build up for Sheena when she faces the Huntress.

Comments: In the Amazon jungle Sheena and Lirio face the Huntress. Sheena and the Huntress battle and we see skill shown by both in the drawings.
Sheena and the Huntress find they have more in common then they thought.
Mr. Cadwell also wants Sheena for his plans. Sheena is a popular girl. As we see Cadwell his evil side is very obvious. He wants the answer to a mystery and will stop at nothing to get it.
Some nice art shows off the characters and the Huntress is drawn particularly well and sensual for the Huntress. She and Sheena both are lithe figures that fit right in with their jungle surroundings.
This issue is setting up for things to come and there are some interesting things in the future for Sheena.
The interaction between the characters is done to bring out their personalities so you know what they are like.
With Sheena in the Amazon forest it has never looked so beautiful.

Comments: Sheena is a prisoner of Cadwell Industries. Sheena is not afraid of the woman holding her a prisoner. Neither of them show fear of the other.
Mr. Cadwell shows up and gives Sheena a choice it is a choice she refuses to make. Lirio makes it for her.
Sheena is so head strong and fearless she will do and face any threat to protect the jungle.
The art on the monsters is gorgeously done and they are fearsome creatures. The colors on them are outstanding. These beasts would scare anyone.
Sheena is a not so wild jungle girl who always does the right thing and gives it her all. Sheena is the Queen of the jungle and she will fight against all who threaten it.
The art suffers on details when it is not a closeup. The story moves along nicely and has a few great supporting characters. Sheena is a delight to see as she leads her life.

Comments: Sheena fights to help her friends. The pose of her crouching shows a lithe jungle girl ready to pounce. It also shows her determination. Her expressions says I will not be stopped.
Sheena faces three monsters armed only with a knife. As Sheena and her friends fight these creatures she is hard pressed. Sheena does go savage on these wild beasts. The poses and fighting scenes are all exciting and full of action.
Sheena is a fighter and is seen here pushing herself to her limits. The story does flow smoothly one page to the next.
The best part of this issue is all the hard fought exciting almost none stop fighting. It is always something special to see a girl in a loin cloth battling evil vile monsters.
Sheena is a character you will love, she is a warrior with a soft heart.

Comments: Here Sheena realizes her Sacred Paititi Blade her knife is special. The glow and gleaming of its blade are drawn to show it has power.
The art on the characters bodies is gorgeously done, the faces are drawn a little to plain.
Sheen and her friends still have a mission to stop the Rot. There is a fight three against three. Than Sheen and her friend attack a monster. They are drawn moving lithely. The monster is a hideous cyclopean beast with four arms. The fighting flows smoothly yet is not overly exciting.
A surprising secret is revealed in this issue.
The way the jungle lore is worked into the story is well done. The temples and lore combine with Sheena's character well.
Sheena is the protector of mother jungle and she will fight to be successful at that.
