Comments: Murcielaga looks beautiful yet intimidating in a lovely pin-up style page.
We learn a lot about Murcielaga here. When she needed help someone was there for her. She and her friend years before had planned to form a gang to fight injustice. Barrio Girls when mistreated would have them to seek revenge and justice. Carmilla her friend also has a power and she uses it. Carmilla goes farther than Murcielaga would. How far we will find out next issue.
Murcielaga is a street super-hero in the tradition of Batman.
"The Black" is written by Vanessa-Leigh Kirby, artist David Mack, letterer Vickie Williams and colorist Daerick Gross. The Black Enchantress meets another magic user in Ethereal Black. They could have gotten into a huge battle of magic but both kept their senses. The story is well illustrated and Ethereal Black is drawn gorgeous in her magic form.

Comments: Murcielaga and Carmilla differ in how far is ok to go against the bad guys. They were friends once now six years later Carmilla has returned.
Sililoquy Jones is a tough female with guns. She has a outfit that is visually exciting to look at. She is part of the Reiki Warriors as Murcielaga becomes to. This is placed inbetween Murcielaga and Carmilla fighting so it seems out of place. It is nice information to know about Murcielaga.
Carmilla is back and on the attack. Is she now on the side of the angels and what about the cryptic warning she delivers? Murcielaga acted rashly but you can see how much she still cares for her friend.
"Hot for Teacher" is written by Eric Dinehart, penciled by Statema, lettered by Jean Simek and colored by Notoliya Torretto (Grafimated Cartoon). The backup story focuses on Sifu the teacher of the Reiki Warriors. Sifu does look out for his students only now it has become much harder. Sifu has a team to train and get ready but ready for what? He is an amusing character but one you would trust. He is a lot more than he seems.
