Being an artist for many is about storytelling and expression.
The sounds and lyrics she was using really delighted people to the point that four hours after the upload of her first song, she became known all over the world!
After that, the next single spread even further, like wild fire and it seems like the monkey energy was on her side!
Tones and I: Dance Monkey Legends
The origin of monkey energy in spirituality is first recorded from 1100 B.C. in ancient China as an animal of the zodiac. He is known as number 9 on a list of 12.
Most powerful are the protective three wise monkeys, originating from an expression in Japan circa the 17th century. Each in a group of three and symbolizing the act of protection with their hands. "Hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil," which seems to embody the same conceptions as it's soul purpose.
The three monkeys are known as Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who will speak no evil.
The Tōshō-gū shrine in Nikkō, Japan, is home to this famous piece of art.
Tones and I: Dance Monkey Legends
In tales, the monkey is portrayed initially as foolish, vain, and very mischievous. Yet, in each tradition, the monkey learns valuable lessons along the way, makes changes, and eventually starts gaining redemption and wisdom.
The dance monkey legends originate from the times where monkeys would perform tricks by the handler like "a puppet on a string" so the term became synonymous with being controlled by the majority for entertainment purposes due to the exploitation of one's charms and beauty, in order to cause spontaneous happiness onto the world.
The monkey is also deep in ancient religious lore. The monkey god Hanuman is a popular Hindu deity. He is part human and part monkey. Hanuman is a central character in the Hindu epic Ramayana. He became changed in form because he grabbed the sun in the sky, thinking it was fruit. He is generally shown to us as a man with the face of a monkey and a long tail. His stories can be found in this great Hindu Sanskrit poem.
In India, he is placed in temples as a statue, in reminder of sanctuary for wild monkeys in the area. No monkey in these temples is allowed to be mistreated in any sort of way. It is the best way to honor his spirit in a large manner.
Tones and I: Dance Monkey Legends
They represent the sacred holy divine, the underworld and a man perhaps from an earlier lifetime. The Mayan's adoration of the monkey is based from many creation myths.
According to men long ago, people were made of wood like trees. The wood people were punished by being destroyed, and those few who managed to survive, became monkeys.
Monkey's in dreams foretell the separation of close bonds should we neglect them. It speaks to us to connect with others just like Tones and I has done by "busking" or interacting with people on the street in order to become a better person and performer.

With the legends of monkeys so far passed from our eyes in time, this is the newest reincarnation of the movement of it's spirit for high purpose. For the mission of love and joy is at the top of most all of our spiritual wish-lists, in order to live with the most harmony possible and find peace, good health and happiness, which in fact music and life can provide as well, as demonstrated by these words.
