Comments: "The Legend Reborn" This is how Captain America came to be in the modern world plus you get a nice recap of his origin. Captain America finds the modern world not to his liking and when Hydra attacks he attacks back as only Captain America can. Captain America figures out he may be a man out of time but this future world needs him in it. There are still those with evil in there hearts and Captain America will be there to stop them.
"Spy for the Cameras!" Cap is out to catch a spy. Cap is shown as sexist here and for the time period it does fit. He and Miss Hepburn do not hit it off. It is nice to see Cap's original shield in action.
"Web of Deceit" Captain America finds himself and Rick Jones trapped in the internet and in Hydra's website. Kid Hydra is so cute and so annoying. You will just want to hit him and Cap does. It takes both Cap and Rick to handle Hydra on the internet. Even Cap needs a helping hand sometimes. He looks so good in action.
"If This Be P.R.O.D.O.K!" M.O.D.O.K. was originally called P.R.O.D.O.K. meaning Partially Robotic Organism Designed only for Killing. Cap takes it head on. Here P.R.O.D.O.K. is not intelligent at all it is just a robot. Cap and Bucky do get into some wild action. It is very well illustrated.
"Marvel Adventures Super Heroes # 3" Here Black Widow and Vision take on Diamondhead and the Owl. Here it becomes clear the Vision is not just a machine he has feelings. He cares about others. It is great to see him facing a foe that is diamond hard just like he can be. He is an exciting character.
"Marvel Adventures Super Heroes # 5" The Rhino and Cap being all buddy buddy what could cause that? Five thousand Hydra agents stand in Cap's way. No problem. The Rhino does have a soft spot for a baby rhino. He is not all that bad a guy. Him and Cap did look good together in battle.
"Back In Time" Captain America in the middle of a forest just happens to run into Chat, Spider-Man's girlfriend. She is a special girl. The anials around her are really well drawn. Chat makes for a wonderful character and she could become a great super-hero.
"Stars, Stripes, and Spiders!" Spider-Man gets to work with the Living Legend. Captain America even helps Spider-Man with his homework while fighting A.I.M. and Grey Gargoyle. These two do work well together and they seem at ease with each other.
"The Big Idea" A mystical monster is attacking our world and Dr. Strange needs help. He sends out a spell to bring him the one hero best suited to help him and he gets Captain America. Captain America's ideals and what he stands for make him one imposing threat to this giant magical being.
These adventures are all fun and exciting. They are made for an all age audience. The art is gorgeous throughout the bok and all ages will love it.
