A Namaqua Chameleon is shown up close. He is a strange creature. He needs to warm up before he does anything.
The Desert Elephants are huge. The adults are shown protecting the young.
The close up shots of these desert animals will have any nature lover in love with them. You will learn so many interesting things.
The Harris Hawk is a hunter. It has amazing eye sight and speed in the air.
A Sidewinder Snake has a unique way of moving. The Shovel Snouted Lizard does move differently as well.
Than we go back to the Namaqua Chameleon it loves to munch on beetles.
In deserts the temperatures skyrocket. At night they go to freezing. A sandstorm is a hardship the animals must endure.
A Webfooted Geeko is beautifully colored and has big beautiful eyes.
The desert evening has a Caracal Cat has a very definite look to it. You will notice one part of it that stands out.
The Kangaro Rat is so cute. And as opposed to the rat a Gila Monster looks evil.

The filming is amazing as you see all the close up shots of the animals. As you watch this it will feel as if you are almost there. It is like a 3-D effect the filming brings out the scenery and animal life.
Humminbirds are slow until they warm up. You have never seen humminbirds shown like this, you get right up beside them to watch as they go about their day.
White-Faced Capuchin are cute monkeys and they have to work for their food. They also find insect repellant.
Basilisk lizards are a bright green. They can move fast when walking on water. This is so fun to watch.
The Three-Toed Sloth is a slow moving animal. The face looks almost human in its expressions. They move slow but work hard.
Orchid Mantis this is a beautiful yet deadly creature. It strikes fast.
At night the Tarsier are small cute creatures that are viscious. From dusk till dawn they hunt and kill.
The Margay cat has huge eyes and extra long whiskers. It is a beautiful creature.
The Red-Eyed Tree Frog is colorful. It is breathtaking to watch. The way it moves is mesmorizing.
Amazonian Horned Frog or Pac-Man Frog is certainly different looking.
All these creatures lead lives that are so fasinating to watch. You will marvel at the beautiful close up shots of these animals leading their lives.
