Comments: A woman is out rowing in this post apocalyptic world. The world as we know it is a mess of destruction. Something devastating happened to it. It is a mystery what that something is.
The woman's plans change and Maceo gets a guest. He is nice and shows her around while she has an attitude. She is Ezmerelda. So its Mace and Ezzy do end up chatting a bit.
The art fits the story just right. These two teens have a world to explore and they do grow up in it and as adults well Mace has definitely grown as a man and become fearless. Mezzy well we will just have to see how this tough girl has blossomed.
Mace finds out that opening a door can lead to so many things and so many changes.
Mace and Mezzy do start out together on an adventure. Mezzy is not all that willing to have a companion yet Mace will they stay together. Well years later... the more things change the more they stay the same.
The future is now and things are violent and the action is exciting.
This is the beginning of one adventure not to be missed. It is going to be a wild ride.

Comments: We see Maceo leaving his home and it is a emotionally hard thing. He follows Mezzy. Mezzy is equiped to survive in the outside world that has gone to hell, Maceo not so much. Mezzy is a realist and Maceo a dreamer. She is pessimistic and him optimistic.
Mezzy does show she does care whether or not Maceo lives or dies.
Mezzy carries a book about rules a Ranger follows. She was and a Wasteland Ranger. Rangers know how to survive.
You would think Maceo would be learning how to survive from Mezzy and he is a little yet it is Mezzy who is learning how to live from Maceo. It is so touching to see Christmas celebrated in a desolated future wasteland. Maceo is making Mezzy become a caring person.
It is nice to see more people introduced into the story. These guys are hardcore and they are set to hunt down Mezzy.
The art is amazing and brings you into this world. You will feel the hopelessness of living here.
There is more to this story than is shown at first and much more to Mezzy.

Comments: Mezzy and Maceo continue walking through this world that has gone so far downhill you might find little hope in it. The world has been left to degenerate. Maceo does prove useful with all his stuff and his inventiveness. These two teach each other prescious things such as to laugh and to survive. Mezzy is learning how to live, while Maceo is learning how to stay alive.
The world these two live in is filled with all kinds of danger and of course hungry rats.
Some dangerous people are after Maceo and Mezzy and here they catch up to Maceo.
The art fits the story and characters perfectly. These two young ones are having an adventure and going where? Only Mezzy knows.
Skip ahead a number of years and Mace aka Maceo is having fun with some man. The man want information from him only he is one tough old man. Hopefully they show Mezzy in the future or present whichever it is. Most likely the younger versions are in the past, though this is never explained.
Mezzy is such a bad ass and Maceo is so nice, they are opposites yet they do keep getting closer to each other. This bond forming is wonderful to see.

Comments: The Rangers are a group of teens and they are super strict. Mezzy is a former Ranger and the Rangers do not let Rangers leave the group.
The badges these Rangers earn are nothing like what the Boy or Girl Scouts did. These Rangers are lead by MAW an old woman and their ways are crazy insane. They are against anything that their rules do not say are normal. They are racistd, sexest and against gender differences. These Rangers are not who you would want running the world unless you wear a pointed white hat and robe.
The art fits the story line just right. Mezzy loks like a survivalist and Maceo like a dork. The Rangers are illustrated to resemble Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The land is a mess and the creatures in it abominations.
Maceo poor Maceo he gets caught by the Rangers. Things do not go well as Mezzy goes on her way. She is going to find the Oasis. Meanwhile Maceo is a part of the Apocalympics. He somehow found his only chance to live. Meanwhile we see Mezzy is forgetting more of her Ranger training which is a good thing as she is feeling. Here she is feeling and she puts Maceo's safety ahead of her own. They are friends.
This future world is in ruins and having people like the Rangers in it does not help. They may be tough yet they are the reason the world is messed up their beliefs, their propaganda.
Mezzy and Maceo make a hell of a team.

Comments: Maceo compets in the Wastleland Olympics against the Rangers and the events are none that you have ever seen before. Maceo is just not cut out for this type of thing. He gets a A for effort and a F his trouble and maybe a lot worse.
Mezzy does show she cares for Maceo. These two rub off on each other and make each other a better person.
Maceo we see is no coward. He does not run from the Rangers. The Rangers have the numbers and they are rough and tough yet Maceo is intelligent and he has a huge heart. Maceo aka Mace faces the Rangers on the field of battle, one against many and Mace does the impossible in his own way. Plus right by his side stands Mezzy.
Mezzy and Maceo these were meant to be together. And the question of whether there is love in the Wastelands is finally answered. Now years later and they are still together, many years later and they do now look a lot older. Maceo has grown tougher and Mezzy has grown up. So what is next for these two and a few things are mentioned here that are amystery waiting to be explained.

Comments: Maceo and Mezzy have become adults and we see them acting like it as they declare their love for each other. It is easy to see how in love they are.
This is a mature comic with nudity and sexual situations. They make love to each other everywhere.
You do get a look at the world they travel through as they look for the Oasis. The world is a deadly place and the rare people they encounter just as dangerous.
Kalista is found and she joins Maceo and Mezzy. So she joins them briefly as do others. Some survivors are nice.
This world is illustrated as one that has gone downhill and then to the dumps and then gotten really bad. The two travelers are beautiful. Yes what they wear is rough and well worn but they look the part they are playing in this world they live in.
Maceo and Mezzy actually do find happiness and love not just in the Oasis their version of paradise that they were looking for but more importantly in each others arms.
Maceo and Mezzy are the perfect couple, you will be jealous of how much in love they are.

Comments: Golgonooza is like a paradise and Maceo and Mezzy are to thank for it. Plus Maceo has left little guides for others to find it. Maceo and Mezzy are happy in Golgonooza. They along with others are making this their paradise. We see this city is full of love. Sex does flow freely here with no inhibitions at all.
Golgonooza has it all you will not believe what you see. This place is fun. fun, fun.
Everyone is so happy in Golgonooza. Maceo and Mezzy have saved a small pocket of humanity and have created the happiest place on Earth. This place is to good to be true yet it is and with all things sometimes things change. The planet itself has decided to change things. What will this mean to Maceo and Mizzy?
The art gorgeously shows off this paradise. A city without inhibitions made for its people to enjoy life. The people are just normal people trying to get by and live their life to the fullest.
Paradise is this city of Golgonooza. Is there trouble in paradise? Only time will tell and the next issue.

Comments: A couple and one more are dicussing what sexual adventures they will have as a threesome. Than the green mist comes and it does something to people. Wendi is a mystery something strange has happened to her. Eden has its first snake.
Mezzy is trying hard to make sure Eden is an eden. She just wants all the survivors to be happy. Maceo he gets to investigate the mists.
The free love here at Golgonooza. Things though start going really wrong as first one thing and then another goes wrong. Things that shouldn't be happening are and for no reason. Mezzy and Maceo do investigate and they also realize this is putting a strain on their relationship so they reconfirn their love for each other.
Something has invaded Golgonooza it is an evil invading the people there. The setting and the art are gorgeously drawn. The characters fit right in with the settings.
Where this story is going is impossible to tell. There is a mystery that needs to be solved.

Comments: The Mist is making the paradise Golgonooza not so much of a paradise anymore. People are dying. Maceo wants to fix it just he does not know how and Mezzy is trying to be supportive yet its hard with the threat looming.
Mezzy thinks someone is attacking them with the Mist and she along with her rangers are ready and they are acting. Maceo does what he can as well. The two act apart, yet you can tell they should act together. These two love each other and are meant to be together and letting this Mist divide them is wrong. This has you wondering is this the end of them.
Mezzy finds Trish a friend of hers and she is not in that good a shape. She does look nice with roses all around her. to many people are dying and Mezzy and Maceo can not stop it. They are also growing more and more apart. Mezzy and Maceo's happy life together is being destroyed in their attempts to save Golgonooza.
Wow as Mezzy and Maceo see each other after I long time of not seeing each other's faces something is just not right. Where will they go from here? Seeing these two love birds losing that love than gaining it back only to have it falter again is sad.

Comments: We see Maceo as he creates the engire to power Golgonooza. It is powerful and beautiful at least to Maceo. Of course Mezzy is better looking.
Maceo is looking for Mezzy and all he finds is the monster. Mezzy is also hunting for Maceo and only finding the beast. Maceo and Mezzy both love each other and neither realizes the truth about the monster.
The engine is overloading and soon will destroy Golgonooza. Maceo and Mezzy meet in a final battle as both see each other as a threat. These two lovers find themselves separated and not even love can bring them back together again. Or so it seems.
The art is gorgeously presented in a fashion that lets you know these people are survivors. It also shows they are fighters.
They had paradise and then it all went to Hell. This story was so full of life once upon a time, so full of hope. Now both parted and went their own ways. Years later though they find each other. Life does go on in the Waste Land and so do Maceo and Mezzy.

Comments: Maceo is now one tough old man. He has matured and hardened. The art wonderfully brings across this future wasteland setting and the people who live in it.
Both Macceo and Mezzy both were devastated when they were separated and both have lived out their lives separately. Now though they saw each other.
Maceo is thinking of running away.
Mother Mezzy when you see her the art perfectly shows her personality. Mezzy is so tough and no nonsense. She attacks without a word and instills fear. Mezzy still loves Maceo and will do whatever it takes to protect him.
Mezzy shows her current friends she is as tough as always. From her actions it is easy to see that she still loves Maceo.
Mezzy and Maceo now must face a horde of Ravengers to save Golgonooza from them. Yes the two created Golgonooza so they are responsible. They both know their duties and will die to do the right thing.
The creatures humans mutated and animals are perfectly done to match the setting and to interact with Mezzy and Maceo. These two are so meant to be together.

Comments: Mezzy and Maceo have been apart for years now. As you see them interacting it is so obvious they are still in love. They may now not want to admit it and they may act as if they hate each other and do not care. Yet anyone can see they belong together.
Things have changed and the world has gotten crazier. Maceo wants to save it and Mezzy well it is hard to tell what she wants with her so adament about not wanting Maceo.
The art shows these two characters as tough SOB's and they are. They look like the world has chewed them up and spit them out. The surrounding are a wasteland in a future world. Mezzy has gained a small army of which the human ones are not trustworthy. The rest are willing to die for her.
This whole comic series does have a other characters come and go yet it focuses on just the two main characters. These two are enough to carry the series they are people that ordinary people can identify with. They are survivors.
Mezzy and Maceo you will be routing for, they are so much better together than apart.

Comments: Old Mace and Mother Mezzy these two fight as one and they show no mercy. They now hate each other for a common goal they sure know what, how and who to kill.
Mother Mezzy trained a bunch of wastlanders and now all they want is to destry everything. Two people stand between them and their goal.
The love between Mother Mezzy and Old Mace is still so strong. They still belong together.
Then Mace's engine is used and it is the end of the world. Well Mace and Mezzy still have a lot more people to kill. Plus they still have unresolved issues between them. What was it that caused them to split apart?
This is a hard look at the future in a world gone to hell and the wasteland is the worse place you could ever live. Yet even in this wasteland love endures.
The art does show this world for what it is a hell on Earth. No one would want to live here and the ones who do survive wish they did not have to.
You will feel for Mace and Mezzy and you know things will never fully work out right for them yet you will find yourself somehow hoping it does. The more you read the more you want a happy ending for these two who have suffered so much.

Comments: Mezzy and Mace are fighting side by side. The world around them looks like Hell. As the two battle for their very lives they something weird and amazing happens. These reflections they have are revealing, they show why these two really broke up. It is heartbreaking even after all these years to see them both realize it. As the two fight it is still very apparent that these two are still in love.
These two Mezzy and Mace started out as compete opposites. Now they are much more alike. Both are survivors and they know what to do and how to act to survive. Each one as well is so tough. Mezzy started tough and Mace became tough.
Mace's engine even after all this time is still going. It has made the land a paradise. So what happens next will the savage killers from the wasteland destroy it all? This is not a nice place to live in.
The art makes it clear what type of world this is until we see a paradise. The rest of the world has gone to hell yet here thanks to Mace there is hope. What is in store for these two warriors of the wasteland next?
