Bill Julia Davis ... Deb Louis Vacula-Ashton ... George Charlotte Morgan ... Fish Run Time: 12 min, 31 sec Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Website: www.newyorker.com/video/watch/the-clearingComments: A family goes out into the woods to camp a man, his wife and their son. The show does set up what is coming. Bill's son George catches a fish and yes the fish is naked. Full nudity is clearly shown. So this is for a mature audience. The animation is cute while the story is serious. At times the show is just weird. Bill comes across as a nice guy really though he is not. He does have a wonderful swiss army knife. Deb the wife she is your normal wife and the two do have problems in their marriage. George the son is not used much he is basicly there to show this is a family. The bear well he looks like a huge teddy bear that you might want to hug ye you know can rip you apart. The background animation looks amazing. It is a beautiful setting. There are some funny scenes. This short animation does deliver a few interesting characters that you will be able to identify with. Richard Vasseur
