upper staircase
forbidden pride
Many angels in heavens
fascinated by apple scented
soldiers riding horses
to the dock of time
with a pit in my stomach
a peach & lemonade
smoothie milkshake
sour maidens
wreaking havoc
incantations
created from the tip of my tongue
at a wake
and only then a kingdom
flowering growing
a veil so thin
Made sense
luxurious wagons with wheels
foraging weapons of silk
listening to the hunt & the kill
of feral predators
Tears from being bitten back
by a bite of a black sugared tart
sinister frozen premonition
of an icicle disaster arrow & loom
People gift-wrapping holograms
a winter of heritage
built not for the dead lake
only a pretty trophy
for all the kings & gods
monsters of all this land
where many swans swim
Formally chosen suicides
& their silent fairy tales
Feathers guarding the tundras
makes me cry
in a paranormal mist
where they sit with
snapdragons
& a longing for innocence
Always forsaken by the fires of spring
and the hues of dawn
permanently sewing light
Destinations clearer at night
Then from here

Neuschwanstein
literally translates to New Swan Stone castle
Bavaria, Germany.
Originally called New Hohenschwangau Castle-
as it was meant to be a grand recreation of Hohenschwangau Castle, where Ludwig II spent his childhood growing up.
Ludwig II
(Ludwig Otto Friedrich Wilhelm; 25 August 1845 – 13 June 1886)
King of Bavaria from 1864 - 1886.
Called the Swan King or der Märchenkönig ('the Fairy Tale King'); outside Germany, however, he is more commonly called "the Mad King" or "Mad King Ludwig".
He was very interested in artistry & architecture especially.
They considered him to be mad or insane because he would spend so much money on his projects that it was phenomenal.
He was required to stay with a dr for mental purposes but, both him and the dr were dead the next day, apparently by suicide.
Ludwig was very fanatical in the operas of Richard Wagner. He saw them all and loved how they inspired his imagination.
Born at Nymphenburg Palace(central Munich), he is the elder son of Maximilian II of Bavaria and Marie of Prussia, Crown Prince and Princess of Bavaria.
His own grandfather wished that his grandson be named after him, since they held the same birthday - August 25 - which is also the feast day of Saint Louis IX of France, patron saint of Bavaria (with "Ludwig" being the German form of "Louis").
He was a young heir & became King at age 18,19.
1864.
He used his personal fortunes to fund construction of a series of elaborate castles.
Schloss Neuschwanstein in Bavaria is a classic fairy tale castle set high upon a mountain with multiple towers.
The gazing ball became very popular form of entertainment & spiritual pleasure. In the 19th century because of King Ludwig II, the same balls were placed throughout the gardens at his castle Herrenchiemsee, a replica of the castle at Versailles, for decorations.
A yard globe (also known as a garden globe, gazing ball or chrome ball) is a mirrored sphere displayed as a lawn ornament.
They were originally made of glass but can now be made of many reflective materials as well as acrylic, ceramic, stainless steel or stained glass too.
When he died, his younger brother Otto refused to rule due to mental conditions.
In the Austro-Prussian War, Ludwig supported Austria against Prussia.
Bavaria signed a mutual defense treaty with Prussia. Although, when the Franco-Prussian War broke out in 1870, Bavaria was required to fight alongside Prussia too. After the Prussian victory over France, Chancellor Otto von Bismarck moved to complete the Unification of Germany.
The so-called Kaiserbrief is a letter endorsing the creation of the German Empire with King Wilhelm I of Prussia as Emperor.
In the new Imperial Constitution- the Kingdom of Bavaria is able to secure it's rights- in particular regarding military sovereignty.

Lyrics
Oh, I bet you think you're John Wayne
Showing up and shooting down everybody
You're classic in the wrong way
And we all know that you know the story
'Cause everyone knows someone who kills the buzz
Everytime they open up their mouth
Yeah, everyone knows someone who knows someone
Who thinks they're cooler than everybody else...
And I think we've seen enough, seen enough
To know that you ain't ever gonna come down
So why don't you giddy up, giddy up
And ride straight out of this town
You and your high horse
Mm, mm
You and your high horse
Mm, mm
