Comments: Rita's past life before the Power Rangers was a simple one conquer and receive tribute.
It is nice to see the Rangers have a normal life outside of being Power Rangers. Billy applies to Promethea and if they do not accept him it would be their biggest mistake. Billy can be shy and nervous but he is smarter than most and a great addition to any team.
Rita is taking a different approach here to her usual attacks. Kimberly and Matthew are a couple but Rita has plans for them. She has plans for Matthew that are going to effect the whole team but most deeply Kimberly.
The story is slow with not much happening and very little action. There is one scene of danger but it is over quickly.
Billy comes up with a surprise that will be shocking if it happens in more ways than one.
Rita when she is shown looks bored. This part was before the Power Rangers and having them in her life has sparked her into life. Her evil has blossomed with them around.
The art has Goldarr looking sharp but otherwise there is nothing of interest.
The Power Rangers do need to go go and do more.

Comments: Rammerhead is one bad kick butt monster created by Finster and controlled by Rita. This look back at how Baboo joins Rita is well done. The monster is one beautifully done illustration.
Here the Rangers are considering a new member as one of their own considers leaving.
All the Rangers are getting ready for the Homecoming Dance well except Jason. For being so brave and fearless a Power Ranger he is coward when it comes to girls.
This issue focuses more on drama and the characters out of their armor. Bulk is shown to as a caring individual. Kimberly is not happy with a Putty. Putty is in for it from the Rangers even if it is a more advanced form of Putty.
The Rangers here are shown as much as students and teens living their lives and the Rangers aspect is in the background for this story. It does work if you like teenage drama.

Comments: Goldar pledges his loyalty. Rita comes across as a bit insane but she does also come across as a great commander. One who wants great generals to lead her army.
The Rangers are battling a new putty one that can morph. So they form Megazord and its power on. The art is stunning here showing this powerful robot. The battle shifts to Megazord vs evil Megazord. How can the Rangers defeat themselves?
Billy is shown here as an exceptional part of the Power Rangers. He is also shown as just Billy and just Billy is more then exceptional as well.
The actual fighting needs to be more intense. It is almost like they walk through the motions.
Focusing on Billy this issue was great to see as he is sometimes left in the background to much. Billy the Blue Ranger is as much a part of the team as anyone. Billy is an amazing super-hero.

Comments: The Rangers are shown in their civilian identities and they are just like other teens. Than it's Morphin Time! The Rangers face a foe that none expected. This evil version of the Pink Ranger is skilled, fast and powerful.
Kimberly and Jason are just ordinary teens as well as super-heroes. Here they are both shown with problems that no super-hero can help with. They are shown having to deal and accept that life is life and it is not all roses.
This evil Pink Ranger looks so cool and she is so bad. Her Zoid is big and dangerous looking.
Overall the whole comic needs move action and excitement. The brief fighting is alright with the evil Pink Ranger yet the other Power Rangers are not shown fighting much.
Better poses in the art for the normal Power Rangers would be nice to see, not just for the evil Pink Ranger. She is a cool new character and one it will be great to see more of.

Comments: A look into a possible future has things being very different as Bulk and Kim are working together against the forces of Rita. Bulk we see is portrayed as a good guy and at heart he always has been.
The present we see the Power Rangers as ordinary teens with ordinary lives and the problems that they have. Yes Power Rangers are just ordinary people to.
The big angry robot is well illustrated, it is a huge menacing machine. The Gravezord may well be the Power Rangers greatest threat. The evil Kimberly is smart and a strategist she knows how to win. The ending here is a cliffhanger one that will have you on the edge of your seat and hoping the next issue comes out faster.

Comments: It is Pink Ranger vs Pink Ranger. Alpha does something that may have just saved the day. Somehow the evil that possessed the future Pink Ranger is banished from her. This future Pink Ranger is now on the side of the angels and out for Lord Drakkon's blood.
The use of the colors in the art gives it a dark intense appearance for future Pink Ranger and Lord Drakkon as they talk.
The threats Angel Groves faces are intense.
This issue needed more action and more focus on a solid story. The characters shown needed to be gotten into more. We needed to be made to care more about what happens to them.
Kimberly the future one is a more tough and harden version of the present day one. She is so cool until she is not.

Comments: Kimberly faces Tommy, this is the future version of the Pink Power Ranger and the Dragon Lord. She losses.
In the present the two Kimberly's face each other. They do the right thing both of them.
This issue we get to see Mega-Gravezord which is a cool Mega Zord. It is one powerful robot. Parts of it look awesome as it fights. This thing is awesome in action.
Michael gives the Rangers a choice to tell him the truth which he knows but they have sworn not to tell any one. This is a sad moment. You can see how hard it is on the Rangers.
Overall this comic lacks in story telling to keep you focused on it. The art while done ok does not have anything that really stands out. It just is.
Kimberly's future self is the best character in this issue and in this story line. She is a more mature version of the current one. Plus she his more tricks and is a better fighter. Future Kim is so cool.

Comments: The story starts out slow. We do get a look at the Power Rangers out of uniform and going about their daily lives. They are after all just teenagers with teenage problems. This part of the comic which is the majority of it drags on. Their private lives outside of being heroes is not very interesting.
Than Rita attacks and its Morphin' Time finally. The Rangers look ready for action. The poses are good with each one different enough to stand on its own.
This battle includes a Megaputty which is new and big. The Red and Yellow Rangers find themselves in a situation that is unlike anything they have seen before. The alien planet is not the strangest part. Jason as the Red Ranger is written as a leader with a wonderful personality as he leads. There are contrasts between the characters in uniform and out. They do not have as much confidence in their day to day lives. They do need to have the two lives more connected.
The Power Rangers once in action do look awesome.

Comments: Jason is shown as he first started his martial arts training. He was a troubled youth. Martial arts helped him to become a better person.
Jason and Trini are on an alien planet. Why are their uniforms switched?
Rita Repulsa is asked to prove who she is on this alien planet.
Jason takes charge on this planet yet he is just reacting. He has no real plan. Trini follows his lead. Meanwhile Rita has her own agenda. The evil you can just feel oozing off of her. She is being nice to the planets Queen yet you know she could easily slay the Queen.
The Power Rangers back home are not doing much and are boring to watch. The most interesting thing is Kimberly accepts a date with Skull.
Rita Repulsa shown actually doing her own fighting is a surprise.

Comments: Jason and Trini are getting random thoughts from each other. Jason does get the one big one, he learns Trini has strong feeling for him. How will this affect their relationship as friends and teammates. They are surviving on an alien planet. Rita is there to and she is after something.
Meanwhile Kimberly has a date with Skull. We see here that Skull is one descent guy. He cares about Kim, really cares. He does the right thing. You will feel so sorry for him. He deserves a girl like Kim or better.
There are lots of things going on in this issue. Even Goldar is up to something different for his character.
Rita gets a new follower in Adriyel.
Jason and Trini with them sharing random thoughts are getting closer. Finally they do share a precious moment just the two of them.
Rita finds what she was looking for and now she has the ability to destroy the Power Rangers.

Comments: Trini and Jason have found Rita and they totally have no plan what to do.
Adriyel makes her move on Rita. Adriyel the Warrior Queen has he army attack the Power Rangers as she takes on Rita one on one. This battle is different with the Rangers switching colors, powers and weapons.
Adriyel actually has Rita on the ropes. They are drawn in a great battle. The Rangers join it as well.
Rita Repulsa finds her subjects are actually loyal to her. Even among the bad guys there is a moral sense, a loyalty to their Queen.
The Power Rangers are illustrated well showing them as heroes. Rita from her younger days is illustrated as one beautiful sexy babe.
The way the Rangers are treated is a bit different with the switch up but it is still nice to see things back to normal. What will happen with Jason and Trini only time will tell.
The ending is a nice surprise one that may lead to a not so nice surprise. It is a great cliffhanger of an ending.

Comments: Zach Taylor aka the Black Power ranger is feeling the pressure of being a Ranger. Jason and Trini are acting as if they are not romantically involved in front of others. Why? Kimberly is having family problems. The Rangers do lead normal lives with normal teenager problems. The romance between Trini and Jason is cute. Why are they keeping it a secret?
When the Power Rangers Morph it is thrilling. No matter how often they do each time still is exciting to see. Stabasaurus Rex is the green skinned dinosaur monster this issue. It is not all that scary or threatening.
Rita has a plan, what is it who can say? It does involve a summoning spell. It will leave you questioning what does she have planned?
The fighting is toned down. Watching Rita's minion is fun. He is stupid but loyal. It is nice seeing him put to use.
Rita is the one character who stands out in this issue.

Comments: We are given a look into Zordon's past. Here we see Alpha-1 the first Alpha coming into existence. His creation is inspiring.
The Power Rangers find themselves in a fight against one big dinosaur. Alpha-1 helps them out big time.
Trini is worrying about the return of Alpha-1. Everything seems right yet she is suspicious, is she right?
Rita finds herself facing off against her own mother well sort of.
The entire comic lacks excitement and the art does to.
It is always great to see the original team together in a comic. They mesh together better than any other version that comes along.

Comments: This issue focuses on Rita. Rita and her mother do not bond but they do fight.
Trini and Jason have their first little lovers quarrel. Meanwhile Kimberly is having problems at home. The drama is high.
There is a ton of drama going on from everyone. Kimberly and Trini start to talk and are interrupted. Goldar and company have arrived and it is hell on Earth. Goldar is a fearsomely illustrated creature.
The girl talk between Trini and Kimberly is cute. Kimberly knows something is up and has a good idea what.
This issue needed more action.
Alpha-1 seems to be trying help while really trying to undermine Zordon. He comes across as totally untrustworthy.
It is nice to see all the members of the Power Rangers getting equal time. They are all part of the team and all are equally responsible for their success. They are a team of friends and heroes.

Comments: Rita has a plan and Goldar is carrying it out with the other minions helping.
Rita and her mother have a nice chit chat. The chat involves revealing that Rita can and does still feel love. So she can not be all evil. Could Rita actually turn good?
Rita and her mother are both beautifully illustrated.
Alpha-1 goes rogue well you had to see this coming. Alpha-1 is willing to go to the next step in his fight. This robot will kill. Alpha-1 is a scary sight. Than Alpha-1 adds to itself and he is a huge frightening sight.
Alpha-1 looks to be the biggest and deadliest threat the Power Rangers have faced.

Comments: Kimberly and Oliver are dating and both are Power Rangers. Who is Oliver he looks like Tommy but is called Oliver. Ok than later he is called Tommy. Its weird, probably just a mistake.
The kiss between Tommy and Kimberly is romantic.
The Thunder Megazord is impressive. It id a nice design and good use of colors.
Tommy's coin has stopped working so he may not be a Power Ranger for much more. You can tell he and the other Rangers want him by their sides as a Ranger.
Lord Zedd has taken over from Rita as the villain. It would be nice to have something said about how this happened. He is just there in her place.
Tommy does not know what to do. It is so sad and his relationship with Kimberly is heartbreaking. These two do care for each other but Tommy's problem is in the way.
The ending leaves you wondering who is that? It is a mystery. Some mystery is good but not to much. Some answers are needed to.
Tommy here is featured and he is a great character just here he is so sad.

Comments: The Power Rangers are discussing Tommy and whether or not he should join the team. This look into the past shows it was close. Tommy though does make the team.
In the present Jason meets an Emissary of the Morphin Masters. Jason has a decision to make. Meanwhile the other Rangers are going about their normal lives.
Lord Zedd has a bunny Mr. Loppsy turned into Warbunny. A big human looking bunny holding a hammer. He is ridiculous. He hops around destroying things. As you get to see him close up he is really stupid looking. So a pet bunny is on a rampage. Well four Power Rangers attack it. There is some hard hitting action.
Jason is missing out on all the action while he is with the Emissary. The team need him and he is not there. The story is split between lots of parts it would have worked out better with a part lasting longer to focus more on it.
The villains seem not overly threatening.
The mystery of the Emissary adds some mystery and what will Jason do, that is a question to make you come back.

Comments: There are lots of Power Rangers fighting here.
Four Power Rangers battle the Warbunny. When Jason finds out his friends need help he acts. Jason arrives just in time to fight this Mr. Loppsy the Hare with a hammer.
The Rangers are being hard pressed by Lord Zedd. He is making it personal.
Jason and his mysterious friend have plans to save everything. Jason faces Drakkon and these two battle till the end. Drakkon is one fierce enemy of the Power Rangers. He is evil and that evil is written so well that you can feel it as you read his words.
It is needed for the Rangers to work together more. Jason is keeping to many secrets. He is their leader and he should act like one.
There are to many things happening so there is no focus and you are trying to follow everything but it is to much. There are so many great characters they just need to be used better.
The Warbunny fight was done with action and fighting enough to hold your attention and the bunny was cute.
