Comments: Witches exist in the modern world and they are living among normal people. Yes normal non witches do fear the power of magic. The story moves along smoothly.
The art is simple and does bring across the characteristics of the individuals portrayed here.
Witches here do not seem all that bad. They actually are presented as the good guys.
Charlie she is a witch with witches after her. The exact situation and why these witches were after her is explained better as the story progresses.
Witches here are not your traditional types. The story is laid back. Now the way witches are looked at and how they react in the modern world's society is what makes this comic interesting. Charlie we do just start to learn about her. She is some kind of private eye or investigator it seems. She is a character that is likable yet one you can tell can look after herself even if she needs help to do so.
Witches walk the streets among us.

Comments: Are witches weapons?
One witch is a suspect in a murder and another witch is watching out for her. The use of magic is subdued. It is also different from other ways of using it.
Charlie is a witch P.I. and one who once is on the case does not let up.
The use of color to illustrate magic being used works so well in this comic.
What exactly is the Circle? How does it figure into the mystery?
The characters in the story are wonderful and the more you see of Charlie the more you care about her and what happens to her.
Charlie does have help. She also knows others who help her. These supporting characters are just as interesting as her and each one focuses your attention on them when they are on the page.
This is a low-key magical mystery that will work its magic on you.

Comments: Charlie and Jaya we get to see traveling in a traditional method for witches. Charlie though ends up being on her own against the Circle a powerful group of witches. She does have friends who will help her and she makes full use of their abilities.
Charlie is determined as she goes about solving a case. Nothing will make her stop.
The story is low key even when witches battle. The art has a nice real life appearance to it.
Charlie does get into a real battle with the Circle witches and the magic fills the air as these witches cast spells. You can feel the power and the deadly intent yet the art portrays it in a subtle style.
The way the comic mixes magic in with every day life works so well. Charlie comes across as an ordinary average person yet you sense right away she is so much more. Yes she is a Private Investigator and a witch. Yet you can tell she is even more than those. Reading this comic will have you wanting to find out more about who exactly she is.
