Comments: The town of Eden is getting ready for a war. Mark and Maggie stand together. Mark's mother also stands ready to defend Eden.
This issue has gorgeous art and focuses on Mark's mother. She ruled Eden but things have changed she is no longer feared. Mark who is only briefly shown here him and Maggie have taken the ruler ship of Eden now. The art shows these people as ordinary ones yet with a determination to them that stands out.
There is no action here. The story sets up for what is to come and it is easy to see those coming to Eden are willing to fight and die. The story does build it up nicely.
War is coming to Eden and this so called paradise will be changed forever.

Comments: It is a family reunion. Parents and their son all get together for a nice unfriendly meeting. So Mark's mother and father face each other and his father is willing to kill his son, is his mother as well? The mother does protect her town and son. We are shown that a little planning goes a long way.
The father and mother have not seen eye to eye for a long time.
Mark and his mother do have a unique relationship. Mark does know her and can read her intentions.
This ends this chapter of Postal so next issue should see the start of something new.
Mark is always a delight to see he is so innocent even while being drawn into the workings of this town.

Comments: Here Eden is explained. It is a paradise with limits for criminals. They get to live free there from the law.
Mark's mother Laura we see going someplace strange. What does this all have to do with Eden and with Mark? The story just took a weird twist.
Laura reveals a deep dark secret to Mark. This secret may totally destroy her and Mark's relationship.
Mark has Asperger's Syndrome and here we learn a little bit more about what that means. Mark is given a situation that he has to deal with that he did not want to. His reaction is not what you might expect.
The art is perfectly done throughout the issue. The people are illustrated to fit their role.
The ending to this issue does inspire you to believe that a future is something Eden has. Laura though what is she going to do? How will Mark react to all the changes happening in his life? So much is happening you will be drawn back to see what happens next.
