Cedric Nishimura is a personable boy who saved the world. The art and story are done for a younger audience. Godzilla is drawn as a big monster just he is not drawn overly scary.
A corporation has a new form of energy and the way it is presented by the corporation spokesman you just know something is going to go wrong.
Cedric has two friends Emily Hill and Anderson Scott.
This new energy creating plant gets Godzilla's attention. It is attacking some ocean life and therefore a threat to all life. The Linival corporation becomes Godzilla's target and he keeps going after its energy plants. Godzilla is the good monster here his reasons are just only to those seeing his actions he is a force of destruction.
This is a good first issue. You get to meet all the main characters. Cedric is one cool little boy. How he figures into everything that is going on is a subject of interest. He is the focus of this comic with Godzilla playing second fiddle which makes this unique and stands out from other comics of the King of Monsters. Godzilla though does stand tall and he is still the King and here he rises up to help save the world.

Infant Island is the home of Mothra it is a quiet place and Mothra is a beautifully illustrated creature here. Then we see a possible future of Godzilla he is unleashing his full power on the planet.
Meanwhile a company plans revenge on Godzilla. They have grown something that hints at being a terrible threat to Godzilla. We only get a peak but from how it is described you know it is going to be one big evil menace that Godzilla will be put to the test to defeat.
This comic is for younger readers and it focuses on the young students. Cedric has a blog which he updates regularly with posts about Godzilla. Godzilla now he needs to be shown more in this comic. When he is its great to see him. Cedric though is the star of this comic he is its main focus.
This is a good comic for children to learn about Godzilla and teaches a lesson about looking after the environment.

The Shobijin are cute miniature girls. They are illustrated as fun girls with a serious side. They have a mission. We see them making contact with Cedric and his friends. The twins use human twins to talk to Cedric and the twin girls are cute.
The corporation has plans now to destroy Godzilla. They do keep you guessing a little as to how, they do strongly hint though.
The illustrations of the kids are beautifully done and than you see Godzilla. He is shown as powerful. He looks like an unstoppable juggernaut.
The Linival Corporation has created Biollante. This monster does battle Godzilla yet it comes across as boring. is powerful maybe more so than Godzilla. Yet it is man controlled. This is just the preliminary battle the final one is yet to come and Godzilla will be ready for it and Biollante.
Godzilla is not portrayed as super scary, he comes across as slightly so which does match up with this being an all ages comic.
