Comments: In Full Moon Hollow at the Hemlock County Fair just outside of town a teenage werewolf runs loose.
The art is for all ages as is the story. Both are simple and straightforward to follow. The scouts are off to camp at Camp Lake Crystal.
The names of the places here are all from horror movies, books, comics or such.
Te Ghoul Scouts do find the werewolf and we get a not overly violent fight. Than a chase which leads to certain conclusions.
The back story is prose "Where'd Jeff Go?" starring Jeff and Ann. These two kids do have a hair raising adventure all their own.
Both stories move along fast and are over before you know it. Both though could have used more to the story.
The Ghoul Scouts are a fun group of kids that love adventures that are weird with a touch of horror to them.

Comments: Nicely done opening panels to build suspense and fear. Doris is shown frightened and as we see the werewolf this is a classic illustration of a werewolf.
The Ghoul Scouts are on the look out for anyone who might be a werewolf. They do find lots of candidates.
As the Scouts go out at night it is a moderately scary time. They do find what they are looking for. How will they handle it?
Why when the werewolf changes does its clothing change as well? This is weird.
The story is told in a so so mode of excitement. This is a young reader comic so there is nothing overly frightening in it. Both the art and story are subdued. The situations are fit for a reader of any age.
The Ghoul Scouts are all interesting young kids that enjoy going out monster hunting. They have fun and find excitement in their adventures.

Comments: A Luchador El Grandioso Rayo is is a heated fight with a werewolf. This little dream scene is full of excitement.
The Ghoul Scouts come up with a unique way to help out the werewolf, Tasha. The team go into action. The art and the way the kids act makes it obvious this is an all ages comic. The art does have a cute touch to it.
The story picks up as Tasha is caged yet a werewolf still runs wild. As the Scouts fight the other werewolf they do get into a rough and tumble brawl.
The pin-ups in the back are gorgeously illustrated.
The ending to this issue will have you waiting not so patiently for what is to come. This is a cliffhanger filled with mystery that you will never see coming.
This is a great comic for young readers they get to go on a scary adventure just not to scary. Plus they will have fun. Not only young readers but readers of all ages can and should enjoy this.

Comments: It turns out there are more were creatures than just werewolves. Kitsune, Rakshasi and Were-Jackal's all show up. The scouts and were creatures all band together forming quite the group.
The art is done in a simple cute style made for an all ages audience as is the story. The frying pan to the head of a werewolf is so funny. The werewolf fight is done in a manner to show them fighting yet it is kept tame. It is not done at all in a scary fashion.
Against a real werewolf these meddling kids actually somehow fair well against this creature of the night.
One thing about this issue with all these shape changers running around no one thinks it at all weird or odd that they exist.
There are full profile pages on all the Ghoul Scouts and they are written to entertain.
This is a fun exciting all ages comic that anyone can enjoy.
