The seventh volume had intro by John Romita wrote in 2005.
Medusa from Inhumans made appearance in issue # 62 as guest star.
The Spectacular Spider-Man issue # 1 was over 60 pages long and in black and white. The cost at time of publication was 35 cents. The second and only other issue was published in volume 7. The second issue was as published in color.
The vulture appeared in issues 63 and 64. Blackie Drago the younger Vulture was also in story. I bet wished he had never taken other Vulture costume in previous issues.
Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson continues is unending almost crazy one -sided version of how Spider-Man at fault or involved with criminals. This though to me was false. Spider-Man fought for right things. He did not align with criminals unless had motive to capture criminals.
Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson were in issues. Mary Jane even got a "perm" hairstyle in issue # 64.
Peter still lived in apartment with Harry Osborn. The apartment was paid for by Harry's father Norman.
Norman has been having difficulty with flashbacks. His amnesia from past Spider-Man battle was now clearing from his mind. H remembered while in hospital that he was Green Goblin.
Mysterio appeared in issues # 66 and 67. There was a segment that was frightening for Spider-Man. He thought was in small amusement park and only 6 inches tall. Mysterio attempted to trick Spider-Man to thinking had been somehow made small and Mysterio was a giant. Mysterio is master of illusions.
The Second issue of The Spectacular Spider-Man had battle between Spider-Man and The Green Goblin.
Aunt May was also in issues always worried about Peter when did not call. Mary Jane Watson was also ever present. Her clothes styled 1960's versions.
The Amazing Spider-Man # 5 King Sized special had a story about Peter Parkers parents. Larry Lieber was artist for story wrote by Stan Lee. Larry in real life is Stan Lee's brother.
I got through inter-library loan.
