Comments: Gurney Halleck is loyal solder for House Atreides. After an attack he wants revenge. Afterward Gurney and his men move on yet Gurney never forgets he wants revenge on the traitor. His intensity burns brightly and nothing will extinguish it.
The Harkonnens especially one Rabban is an evil sadist beast. What Rabban did is unforgivable. Gurney wants revenge and he deserves it. As you see what Rabban is like you to will want to see him get what he deserves.
Gurney is single minded in his plan of revenge starting with Rabban. Gurney is a man you do not want against you. Rabban though is to and he will do anything to get what he wants. Gurney has honor while Rabban has none.
House Atreides may be dead but its spirit lives on in Gurney.
The set up here on Arrakis shows a hard planet to survive on. Harkonnen forces treat its conquered people poorly. They treat them worse then slaves.
You will find yourself following this series just to see Gurney get his so deserved revenge.

Comments: Gurney Halleck is a man doing what he knows is right. He hates the Harkonnens. The Beast Rabban who leads the Harkonnens on Arrakis he is a hard saddistic man. The scenes of the destruction he caused are devastating.
Gurney has a plan to strike back at the Harkonnens for the House of Atreides. For vengeance. As they near their goal we get to see many space ships. The art does a wonderful job of showing each one off. Gurney and his men are a tough lot and they have their mission. They will fight and die if necessary to achieve it.
The art throughout this issue is perfect as we follow Gurney and his men it shows the dedication and hatred they carry for the Harkonnens. These are not men you want after you.
The stories of Dune are not all about sand worms there are men and women who are willing to fight for what is right and Gurney Haleck is one of them.

Comments: The sci-fi art in outer space of the ships is an amazing piece of art.
Gurney and his men are carrying through on their plan to heist a Harkonnen Water Tank. Water is precious on Dune. The plan is going smoothly everybody is keeping their cool and doing what they should be. No one suspects a thing.
The Spice Worn is a huge creature that is a frightening sight. All those teeth and its big bulk would intimidate anyone.
Everything is going just as planned so of course one unexpected thing happens and the whole plan is ruined. Gurney and his men are now in a fight just to survive. These are hard men and they fight hard none go down easy.
The art
It would be nice to learn more about the characters involved in the story. There is a fair amount of fighting Energy shields are used but it does not go into how they work. Or how they are penetrated.
Gurney is a man you will admire. He is a man of integrity. If you are to you will enjoy reading about him.

Comments: Gurney hurt the Harkonnens and he wants to do so a lot more. With him it is a matter of honor. He is a fighter but a smart one and he plans and bides his time.
Gurney does sneak in to Rabban's celebration. He knows what he is doing and does it so well. Revenge comes to him yet he still wants more of it. His plot works so well because he knows his enemies. The Harkonnens do not seem that bad as the soldiers are just shown following orders. Now this Rabban he is something else a man of evil. He leads the Harkonnen soldiers.
The art does show this Universe as a place not unlike our own only set more in the future. Whenever they show you the ships and technology you will be amazed at the illustrations of it that make it feel real. The space ships are just what you might expect to see.
Gurney is such a hard man and so focused on what he wants.
