Title: Lynx Vol. 1 # 1 1992 Publisher: Paper Hero Comics/G-Man Comics Written by: Rik Offenberger Art by: Justin Vargas Color by: Fabio Da Silva Bandres Letters by: Francisco Zamora Price: $ 5.00 US Rating: 2 out of 5 stars Website: g-man-comics.com/Comments: Mateo Martinez is in Africa to stop some poachers and get a measure of revenge for a friend. Mateo does find two poachers and he is very violent. The poachers show no mercy and neither does Mateo. The art is a little vague at times, the body proportions are off some times, the backgrounds are done simple basic some panels only color is used as the background. The arms are drawn muscular like a muscle builder. The size of a person's muscules does change from panel to panel. There is action and lots of guns firing. Mateo is a cold blooded killer here as he gets his revenge. The story is simple and does not give you much information. The more you know the more you care. Mateo cares for his friends maybe to much. Plus his violent angry side needs to be controlled more. A hero should not be such a violent killer. Richard Vasseur
