Comments: A group of people at a beach walk out into the water. The gravity of the situation increases as they continue walking. Why is this happening? It is a terrifying situation.
While in another area the homeless are not doing what homeless usually do. This is an unsettling experience.
Allie Lonergan, Vy Thahn, Ol' Hank Robinson, and a naked man. These people somehow are tied together.
The naked man is part of a riot going on and looting.
People are acting is ways they should not be. Things are going on that are totally unexpected. This story is like something out of a horror movie. There is a terrifying mystery here.
The book is much to short just as you start to get into the story it is over. The art matches the story nicely. It shows ordinary people going about their lives until something happens they are not prepared for.
As you read this each page will be making you think what is going on and why? The suspense will have you looking forward to the next issue.

Comments: A naked man is wondering what is going on. Also three people that have been affected by the strange and deadly occurrences. These three do want to find out why this is happening.
So much is a mystery here. The story is unfolding like a horror movie of some sort.
The naked man seems to be crazy at times and other times perfectly sane well accept for running around naked in public. The three people who meet up are a odd collection of different characters yet willing to work together.
The art definitely fits the story. The scenes of carnage are horrible to think about. They will have you imagining what if you where there.
The story moves along nicely. The people you ge a brief explanation of who they are. You will find yourself liking these people and interested in seeing what happens to each one. Allie, Vy and Hank along with Bernie are people you easily come to care about.
The build up to suspense to what is going on is palpable.

Comments: Bernie Heldmann was just some average guy, nothing special at all. Then things changed for him. He is now much more than he was. He has power that he is using. He is in unknown territory with his power. Yet he is using it yet it does not always go how he would like it to.
Bernie's abilities are so powerful they actually work on him as well as others.
Allie Lonergan, Vy Thahn, Ol' Hank Robinson catch up to Bernie Heldmann and they start out talking but things do escalate quickly. Bernie does not seem to fully realize just what it is that he is doing. When he uses his power awful things happen.
The art looks great with all the characters looking like just normal everyday people. The villain is not all that much of one since he never really meant to be one and certainly not as far as things went.
The ending is anti-climatic. Yes it is still a horrifying ending cause if it happened for real it would be horrible.
