Comments: A man some kind of police officer is strong yet you can feel he has some fear of what is coming for him. The Harrower when we see him is a creature of evil hatred.
A mark which we get to see beig taught about in school is the Sinner's Mark. It summons the Harrower.
This town has a Harvest Gala every year and it is easy to see something is up about it.
A group of five friends are on their way to a party and they end up splitting up. There are surprises along the way. Reed the one teen he is something else in his attitudes.
This book is a horror one and done like a horror movie. It needs more suspense and build up. The Harrower is a frightening creature but just showing it is not enough.
None of the characters are gotten into at all with the exception of the small amount about Reed. The Harrower to not much is mentioned about him.
As the story goes on and we learn more this should become more interesting and better.

Comments: Teens are having a party at a house in the woods and cell phones and landlines are down. The setting is one like a horror movie. A cheap grade B horror movie.
So at the party the power goes out but only at this house. As one guy checks the breakers things go to weird to terror rising. As the Harrower appears you can feel the shock in all the party guests. The Harrower is not your ordinary slasher and killer.
The art for this type of story does fit. It does give the comic the setting it needs to tell this type of story. The gore looks good without being to gory.
The issue does flow by really fast. It is over before you have a chance to let it sink in what is going on and the absolute horror of it all.
The Harrower exactly who or what he is is not yet explained fully. Having some mystery is good yet something should be said about him and about his victims. The reader needs to know a little something about who the characters are.
The Harrower is the big strong silent type and he would scare just about anyone he snuck up on at night.

Comments: One law officer is shown going head to head with the Harrower. These two get into one all out battle of guns vs knives. These two both want the other one dead. Creed does get away from the Harrower.
Creed and four college kids join together to try to survive the Harrower. The numbers dwindle as the Harrower closes in. This is presented just like a low budget horror movie.
Now there is some explanation here as to what is going on. It could be a lot better but it is not. It does make sense just there is no reason for it.
The art fits perfectly for a low budget horror comic book. The Harrower is illustrated to give him a frightful look. There is no suspense though. The characters who are the victims or survivors you learn nothing about them so why would you care if they survived or not.
The comic is just there , it needs a good story or any story aka plot to it.

Comments: A couple teens are in a room full of adults and a few other teens. What is going on here? Well the Harrower is explained and why they do what they do. The Harrower is used as a instrument of God even though what they do is far from heavenly. What is done to them is ungodly.
Graham and his sister find her doing what she can to bring him back. As the Harrower it is his job to kill her. Jessa she does as expected and the outcome is obvious.
Most of the art just there and does not stand out at all. When the Harrower is there is the only time the art stands out. The Harrower when focused on has a slightly menacing appearance.
This plays like a low budget horror story yet lacks suspense and build up. The horror is missing and it is not scary at all. Yes there is killing but that is not enough. This book need more to it.
