Comments: Kaaw is a gladiator on the planet Zion. The art is dynamic and impactful.
The story jumps ahead and does not show a lot of what happens. Kaaw though finds himself in outer space a prisoner on a slave ship. He is shackled and imprisioned in an impenetrable cage. Yet he still tries. His breaking out of the impenetrable tank is not shown. It would have been nice to see.
Kaaw is unstoppable in a fight. The scenes show the aftermath but not the actual event as he attacks. It would be much better to see the whole scene unfold. The story and art here rush through things. When a hit is shown you can feel and see the power Kaaw has.
The First Mate Phenrich has a plan to stop Kaaw. Will it work, will it even pose a threat to Kaaw? The Hell Hounds are loose.
This issue needed to explain more. We needed to know more about Kaaw and about those after him. We are told the very basics only.
The art looks great and what it does show is done well.
The character of Kaaw other then he is a fighter we do not get into at all. Yes he is a hard fighter who does not quit. Kaaw will bow down to no one.

Comments: Kaaw is on a beserker rampage throughout the space ship. He is unstoppable. Then the Captain releases the Hellhounds.
This comic even has a couple activity pages. And even a fan art page.
When the Hellhounds find Kaaw all hell breaks loose. These two Hellhounds were reaised to kill. Kaaw we see is a warrior born. Kaaw goes through the ship and he just does not stop. Kaaw is a savage barbarian.
Kaaw is tough, wild and exciting as he is just being himself. He is the best at what he does and what he does is destroy anything in his path.
The adventure continues next issue.
There is a magnificant pn-up page of so many barbarians from others comics and TV cartoons yet Kaaw is at the top showing he is the best of the best.
The comic is very short with only eleven pages of the actual comic book. Double the amount would give the story room to grow rather than getting cut off to fast.
Kaaw now this warrior is a savage beyond reckoning. Now he has a whole planet to have brutal adventures on.
