The term "narcissist," as we know it in psychological form and theory comes from the Greek myth of the god-man Narcissus.
It became a popular tool to diagnosis mental conditions ranging from personality disorders to anger issues starting from the 19th century.
Known mostly to occur in men, however certain people may have symptoms and can laugh it off, while others have left devastation in their wake.
At the height of a severe onset, the results can be drastic including violence and murder.

This is in large part due to one's skewed perceptions of themselves and others around them/they are known to be devious, self-fulfilling and arrogant.
It can be curable, however many people are afraid to confront narcissus due to the unrelenting behavior of gaslighting and lack of empathy, never really understanding the painful emotions and physical danger they may cause.
Due to the lack in self-awareness to feel better they look for people who can serve as a mirror to them, showering them with adoration and helping to make them feel a sense of superiority.
When confronted, they usually turn it about themselves and how they are broken, so it usually never comes to anything productive in the end.
They also enjoy punishing people for blows to their ego, invalidating and discarding them too.

Narcissus rejected all advances due to no one was able to fulfill him completely but, only himself.
[Narcissus doesn't care about people’s feelings, to them everything is a contest].
He then in turn fell in love with his own reflection, which shimmered in a pool of water before his eyes.

It's a spring-flowering daffodil, with 6 petals and a corona.

Usually they are found in white, yellow, orange or pink form.

Being a narcissist can mean many things, including being self-centered and needing lots of attention- so to where every second must be about them.
If you have narcissism tendencies, it means you frequently make situations about yourself instead of a whole development.
Perspectives and ideologies are based on personal experiences and fascination, rather than logic or truth.
A narcissist will hold on tightly to the illusion that they are projecting to others, while caring very little about the reality or anything less then shallow meanings, which are self-involved.
