I thought was amazing true story documentary. The story follows child Miles Scott, an American child and cancer (leukemia) survivor. His wish from Make A Wish was to become Batkid sidekick to Batman. It showed how dream became possible. Many individuals came forward to make dream come true. The Riddler, The Penguin and of course Batman were part of dream come true. I am including Wikipedia and you tube information. the idea went viral. The California child happened on November 15th, 2013. Lamborghini car company even provided one of there black cars at Bat Mobile. Some streets in San Francisco were even shut down to let Miles have his dream. This was a very feel good type of story. "Bat-Kid Begins" is a family oriented biography.
I found DVD for sale as used copy at area store named Riverside Books. I expect can find online or at Amazon or Barnes and Nobles. I also noticed places to be able to see online for small cost. This is a inspiring film that gives hope during very difficult times of world. The world needs heroes. Miles Scott even got to dress up in Bat-Kid costume and fight along side Batman. It became a story of hope. Miles Scott is still alive 5 years after Make A Wish. President Obama even gave support to Miles during his Make a Wish day in San Francisco. This was very feel good type of story.
I at one time had a niece that was helped by Make A Wish. The two year old child got to see Tinkerbell at Disney World.
