Comments: As the shark attacks it is gory as this rocket strapped shark does strike. The shark does look amazing in the water. It moves with purpose while attacking.
The shark finds a boy Daniel and he returns Daniel to his sister Marisa. The interaction with Daniel shows the sharks intentions are good. This shark is a force for good on the seas which lead to some people not liking it enough to want it dead.
We get a look at USS Gnasher's origin. This shark went through a lot to become as he now is. The art does illustrate that this shark is a killing weapon. It has guns and blades and it has a killer instinct.
The story is like a B horror movie. This comic would make a great B movie.
USS Gnasher does so much good he likes feeding on drug smugglers and other criminals.
Dr. Brooke Douglas and her piranha will leave you wanting even more than the armed shark. You will be coming back for piranha vs shark.
There is a complete run down on who is who and what they are up to. You will definitely know all the players.
USS Gnasher now this shark is the main character and it does think. As USS Gnasher thinks you will start to find yourself drawn to him. Yes it is a killer shark yet it thinks and feels. It just wants to do the right thing. If that is feeding on criminals so be it.

Comments: The ocean scene of sharks feeding on an Orca is beautifully illustrated. The ocean's colors are perfect and the sharks have a nice amount of detail with the grey shading making them look realistic.
The way the shark USS Gnasher thinks is uniquely done. You will done admire and fear him. He does have a oddly cute sense of humor.
A Navy Seal Team is in trouble and Gnasher is there. Adding one killer shark with augmentations does make one huge difference.
The art is stunning throughout this issue. The helicopters and ships you have to see, the Black Hawk helicopter is done so realistic.
The shark Gnasher meets a swarm of piranha this is a battle you do not want to miss. Both are furious hunters. The primal beauty of predictors acting as their instincts direct plus pushed even more through genetic manipulation. These are killing machines in motion.
What is Directive 21?
The people involved here are secondary to the fish. Gnasher is the main star and he is far more than any ordinary shark.
This story delivers action, drama, mystery and so much more. There is a new terror on the oceans and Gnasher is ready to bite you.

Comments: Gnasher has been attacked and is in bad shape. Daniel looks at him as a friend one he has to help. It is great to see this bond between them. The art leaves no doubt how badly injured Gnasher is. Marisa is illustrated beautifully in her green bikini. You can feel the love Marisa has for her brother Daniel.
The vehicles, the boats and helicopters they look so amazing. They have a realism to them and they jump right out of the page at you.
Seeing the swarm of piranha as they attack is a frightening sight. You will find yourself imagining what if it was you they were attacking.
Lobo and Dr. Brooke Douglas are the villains here and they are evil.
Daniel and Marisa do put forth a effort to save Gnasher. With help they do achieve their goal. Gnasher now this huge killing machine is better and full of one emotion only hate for Dr. Douglas.
The people in this issue are the focus and stars and it is done well so you get to learn about them. Gnasher though is nowhere near out of it. He is shown having human emotions and a human's hate. This big bad shark is ready now to get even. Dr. Douglas would be very afraid if she could see into his mind.
Gnasher you will start to think of as almost human and you will find yourself caring about him.

Comments: It is so nice to see Gnasher recovered and just playing. He is a killing weapon yet he does have a personality and feelings. He is like a good friend that you care about. Than we see how he thinks and you know he is a killer and wants revenger on Dr. Douglas. The art on Gnasher is frightening in how it shows him. Yes he is a shark but no ordinary one.
Marisa's female endowments are drawn to stand out here. The stripped shirt really does that to great effect.
Lobo is one mean sadistic killer he enjoys nurdering. With his armed ship and the swarm he is the most dangerous thing on the water. Well maybe?
Gnasher gets an upgrade here and he is more ready then ever to face any threat. Even thousands of flying piranha, two Blackhawks and a heavy armed ship. Can even Gnasher with his improvements handle all this?
You will never look at open water the same agian. If you happen to see a shark with rockets and guns attached to it well stay out of its way.

Comments: Marisa and a solder Ensign Calder are going to help out Gnasher. When he hands her the boat key it is so small normal size is like four times as big.
Gnasher as we see him is in a battle for his life he faces insurmountable odds. The action scene is alive with violence. Gnasher has been upgraded though and is ready. Gnasher does fight but he also uses his intelligence. When it comes to combat Gnasher just keeps coming. He is a one shark killing machine.
After the battle is won and Daniel and Ms. Marisa Aguaro go home they are still in danger and who should come to the rescue. Yes its Gnasher.
The colors are really well done throughout this book. They are vibrant. The different shades of color blend so well into each other. The clothing Marisa wears helps accentuate her natural beauty.
Gnasher is incredible as you see him drawn here. He is a shark first and foremost and next you see the weapons and than you realize this is an intelligent creature he thinks and reasons. The teeth are vicious thinks which you do get to see used. Gnasher does feed.
The US Navy ships are illustrated with lots of detail to them.
This comic does end just how it should have and it also sets up perfectly for the next arc in the series.
