The main idea is what if superheroes had a bad day. Would they use super-powers to kick, punch and pound others. They could shriek-they could screech with an ear-piercing sound. They could crush wooden crates and bend metal gates. They could throw trucks and buses across several states. They could knock over buildings like towers of blocks and crumble the streets into rubble and rocks. They could use laser eyes to ignite forest fires, or fling boomerangs to deflate the town’s tires.
The story tells how superheroes have all sort of choices.....
Instead of destruction and loud livid voices
They burn away angry steam off with speed-of-light hiking or super-Xtreme outer space mountain biking.
They race to the rescue of people in need
And delight in the joy of a super-good deed.
The book boils down to choices made to be good by super-heroes. The book is in rhyming text. It shows readers that even heroes have bad emotions. They just have learned how to control feelings.
They chase bad guys. They tame super-menacing beasts. They do really positive things instead of evil temptation of evil deeds. They could do awful things but they don’t.
This was very refreshing story of no more than 500 words. I appreciated art by Eda Kaban. The story is 31 pages long. I got book through library. There is another book in series called "Even Superheroes Make Mistakes.
