Title: Super Duck # 1 Publisher: Archie Comics Story by: Frank Tieri & Ian Flynn Art by: Ryan Jampole Lettering by: Jack Morelli Colors by: Matt Herms Cover by: Ryan Jampole Variant Covers by: Derek Charm, Andy Fish, Adam Gorham, Erica Henderson Price: $ 3.99 US Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Website: www.archiecomics.comComments: New Duck City is the home of Super Duck. Super Duck is different. He is admired by almost all even criminals. As he is in action it is an exciting and fun experience. Humor is wonderfully mixed in. He is a hero and his over the top actions are ignored by the public as if they do not happen. Super Duck gets into a huge battle with Dapper. Dapper is hopelessly outclassed in strength. The fight does end unexpectedly. Now afterwards we see a Nick Fury wantabe and Super Duck of course is a take on Superman. The fun cartoon art and style of the story telling does work well until the end of the first story. The story was flowing along so nicely. Than the drama starts. "Super Duck vs. The Atom Dragon" The old style art of the forties looks spot on. This is a fun action packed back up story. Super Duck is a entertaining fowl. Richard Vasseur
