Comments: In Ireland a young man is exploring a cave. He has a purpose and knows what he is doing. Still the unexplained happens. The visuals do bring this story to life. The man is transformed into a hero and his costume is so beautifully designed. The Irish aspect is obvious. This man has a young boy who is anything but that named Cercis on hand.
Now this man who has no name did acquire powers in that cave. The fight scenes have a subdued look in the way they are colored yet the excitement is intense. You can feel this man becoming what he was destined to be.
This issue is just the beginning of what is to come. The ending wanting to find out more.
Why does the main character not have a name? It is something used to identify with him. As well a way to remember who he is.
A Irish super-hero of such raw power and beautifully designed is a delight to see.

Comments: The recap here gives Donny the new Ginger Avenger both his super-hero and civilian names.
Now Donny is shown with a woman. These two obviously know each other and are in a relationship. It is like the book has skipped over a lot of the story including when she was introduced.
The colors are outstanding.
We get a look into Cercis's past. What is means is not fully explained. There is lots of action and drama.
Donny's nanny Betty is being pressured into selling her home. So Donny the super-hero is going to help.
Donny's girlfriend and scientist Miranda Cruz made a break through discovery. Things do not go the way she expected with her boss. Again information is missing about the story. Big gapes are left in the story. They needed to be filled in not skipped over.
The Turkey Shark shows up to help Ginger Avenger fight the bad guys. Yes her name really is Turkey Shark. There is more sadness and drama.
The ending makes no sense at all. As you read it you wish it did cause it sure does look interesting. It would be great to know what is going on.
The Ginger Avenger does come across as a powerful super-hero who is doing the right thing. He is a good man.
