Comments: Miles and Gwen are both studying for a hard test. Miles seems to be taking it more seriously. They are after all students still.
The Spider Gang gets a call from Tony Stark to investigate a theft. At the site they find the Shocker. He is impressive looking. The Spider Gang and Shocker do mix it up with excitement ensuing. The Shocker is a bigger threat then you might image. With Spider-Man and Miles plus Gwen being fairly new still to the super-hero game they are still all learning.
The camaraderie the Spider Gang share is beautiful to see. They do work well together each is a little different yet those differences make them stronger as a whole.
The battle does get intense as the Shocker shocks them with his ruthlessness. During the fight Gwen and Miles still manage to make time to talk about their private non super-hero lives. You get to learn more about them so you care more about them.
Spider-Man does not act like the main star of the comic and he is not featured as such yet he still does come across as if he were.

Comments: It is the Spidey's vs the Shocker and things are getting shocking. The Spidery's are shown leaping into action and the poses are dynamic.
Spider-Man and Ghost Spider take on a robotic drone. This is drawn with lots of action. Both heroes look so good in web spinning action.
It is great the way the three Spidey's work together and support each other. Together they are so much stronger than separate.
The Shocker's plans are coming together he now has his Vibro-Shock Super Armor.
The comic is written and drawn as a younger reader one. It can and does still have appeal for all readers.
Spider-Man, Ghost Spider and Miles are friends and super-heroes. These three are Spidey's and they do show you what a hero is. Plus the all out action is marvelous to see.

Comments: The Shocker has a new super armor suit so his power is way up. The three Spiders are working well together to track be ready to take down this super Shocker.
The Shocker wants a billion dollars and what he wants it for is different. The Shocker thinks he is a genius yet it is the Spiders brains that aid them most in the battle.
The Shocker aka Mr. Schultz does seem like a good man just misguided. It is to bad when the bad guy is not really bad but still ends up in jail. You do feel sorry for them.
The comic is to short at only twenty-three pages since there are eight pages of ads. A few more pages would have been nice to see of the Spiders.
The story does have Peter, Miles and Gwen out of costume as much as they are in it. We see the story focusing on Miles private life and his school studies. Which leaves less time for action.
The super Shocker is presented as a big threat yet he does not turn out to be.
The Spiders need to be played up more as super-heroes. Much better fighting and heroic poses are needed.
We do get a nice humorous touch in the comic a few times that will have you smile.
