Comments: Aric and Shanhara have a interesting conversation. Man and suit of armor talking as equals, as partners. Eric has changed. Aric is tries to be a good hero on Earth. He does not fit in that well. What do you expect a Visigoth from the past living in the present and he has the most powerful weapon in the universe.
Aric in Canada above the Hudson Bay finds a mysterious missile. Things are not going that well for Aric at being a hero the general public is against him. His intentions are good just with his level of power its hard to do things gently.
This is a way subdued Aric. He is not as aggressive as he used to be or as sure of himself. His character is watered down.
Aric while trying to stop a war has an encounter with something. The robot is impressive and very powerful looking.
The X-O Manowar is not illustrated all that well. It is not shown as most powerful weapon in existence. It is shown but it is just there. Aric needs to be shown more as the warrior that he is and one tough one. he is a man with a suit of armor and not much more.

Comments: Aric finds himself in battle with a powerful robot. Aric and his armor Shanhara like to carry on a conversation while they are in a fight. Aric finally dos the e thing he needed to to win this battle he fights.
Troy Whitaker is a rich business man and he has a plan that includes Aric and the X-O Manowar suit.
This comic is so toned down in comparison to the series before. Aric acts unsure and needs Shanhara to guide him here. For a powerful super-hero he sure seems weak. Aric goes to Whitaker to find out what he should do.
Aric needs to be more assertive, aggressive and forward. He needs to think for himself and act. This passive unsure version does not work.
The art could be much better to show off the armor of Aric's. You can tell it is there but that is about it. Aric is no longer the great warrior Visigoth he is just a man. He has the most powerful weapon yet he only uses it to fly or as a defense. Than having him bend his knee to Whitaker is just pitiful to see. This is not the X-O Manowar who should be. This is a cheap flawed imitation at best.

Comments: Aric is trying to become a super-hero on Earth. He wants to be loved by all. To that end he is doing good and seeking publicity. Aric is doing a lot of good fighting natural threats.
Here Aric is attacked by a nanite swarm. This thing is one huge threat and scary looking. It does just strike out of nowhere.
A proof reader was needed on this issue.
Yakiov is our main villain here he is one evil guy. This guy knows how to get under Aric's skin. He also gets Aric angry.
The X-O Manowar suit gets an upgrade and a redesign not enough change so you can still recognize it.
Aric gets motivated by Yakiov in a way that guarantees to have him come charging after Yakiov.
Aric's heroic side shows here but not his warrior side. He should be shown as more of a warrior and harder tougher. This series is presenting him as a watered down version of his former self. He is being shown more like just your average super-hero.
