Title: Mary: The Adventures of Mary Shelley's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Granddaughter (GN) Publisher: Six Foot Press Written by: Brea Grant Art by: Yishan Li Price: $ 18.99 US Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Website: www.sixfootpress.comComments: Such a cool start to this book. Totally unique way to get this story off and running. Mary is from a long line of writers. she has not accomplished much yet. Now as the story progresses things start to get a little weird. The narration is beautifully done and Mary is one cute girl with a strange side you can just feel waiting to come out. Poor Mary her whole family expects her to become a writer. They just keep pressuring her way to much. They go overboard big time. Mary just wants to be herself. Mary meets Adam and things are taking a turn down a street that is kind of expected. The unexpected is becoming the norm in her life. Things just keep getting weirder for Mary. She may have a new calling in life as well. Yes Mary has finally found her place in the world. She is now a doctor to monsters. She is taking this seriously and diving right in to this new calling. The big fight between Mary and her relatives plus the monsters vs a horde of demons. It is thrilling action packed scenes. Yes Mary will face danger in her new job but she considers it worth the risk. Mary may not be a great writer yet she is one great person who cares. Her caring will lead to one strange life filled with plenty of monsters. Richard Vasseur
