Comments: One monstrous man is on a rampage. The police move in and attack with force. The scene is short yet very effective and very forceful. Lieutenant Michael Batterson meets Whitney Thorne and we get a brief look at a few other "people." It becomes evident that these people are not ordinary in any sense of the word.
Batterson we learn a little about his background and why he is at Section 12.
The jail break does lead to some awesome action. The fighting is illustrated wonderfully to show the hard hitting action. Miss Fire is drawn with acrobatic abilities. Here we learn about her background as well. It is nice as the more you know about a character the more you care about them.
The artwork shows off each character giving you a good look into what they are really like. Nite-Fall
Keeping some mystery does work as it keeps you guessing.
A mysterious organization with people who have powers going out to capture or recruit more of the same and protect the world at large.

Comments: There is a facility where people with abilities are held prisoner. The Chief Administrator Whitney is a real hard butt. The staff and patients are drawn with stunning expressions and overall they just jump out at you.
The story needs more of an explanation to it. The knight from ancient times is illustrated just right. The way he talks is perfect to match up with him. But why and how did he get to the present.
Ok as the story progresses you can start to piece it together if you pay attention. Section 12 has a team assembled of four people with special abilities to go out and fix things that go wrong such as letting dinosaurs roam freely in the present.
The team is shown as a bunch of amateurs fighting the Dinosaur and knight. They are just put together and having them having trouble working as a team makes sense.
Miss Fire has a name that does not fit as good as you might expect. Tyler's ability is a mystery. Nite-Fall looks the most like a super-hero and acts it. The other member of the team is some kind of security guy has name is never mentioned.
There are mysteries here which will peak your interest.
