Comments: "Point of View" Pocahontas and Terror Noir both narrate their interpretation of events that happened to them as they handled a situation. Pocahontas looks gorgeous and threatening in her native American costume.
Afterwards we see these two super-heroes have a problem with each other. Yet when push comes to shove Terror Noir does respect Pocahontas. Both care about protecting the innocents and saving lives.
"The Energist & Irene: The Fifth Time" Uncle Dan comes to the rescue of his niece Irene. These two have a wonderful and loving relationship. Dan is one powerful man and Irene may be just what he needs to control and look after him.
"Into the Halflands" Flag is on a rescue mission. The area for the rescue is in another dimension one that is like a cartoon. Flag does get himself through the situation so he completes the mission. It is a fun one to go along on for the reader.
"I Want You!" The FBI super agent leader who's name is never mentioned finds out he cannot control all the super-heroes. Yet he does find out that some super-heroes may not want to work for the government but they will work with them.
This is a wonderful collection of super-heroes being super-heroes as they were meant to be.

Comments: "Thunder Struck!" Here we see two speedsters Blue Bolt and Thunder Volt. It is a fast chase and ends fast with a villian in cuffs. Blue Bolt than races off to a meeting with the First Guard. The First Guard is just an inspiring name. Blue Bolt and American Eagle walk into the meeting room and they are floored by the announcement or accusation. The end to this part will you you stunned.
"The Double Life of Ali Rashed" Terror Noir is a hero and jumps into action when danger strikes. Only he realizes his super-hero identity gets credit while his secret identity is thought to be hiding and a coward. Being a super-hero can be tough and not just from the fighting.
This next story has no title and no listing for who worked on creating it. Flag gets into a battle with a animalistic man. It does seem as if Flag is outmatched and maybe he is yet Flag is a man who just does not stop.
"Who is Outrage?" Outrage finds she is good at helping people and at captures those with powers. She is drawn with some big muscles and she uses them. So as she becomes a super-hero she chooses a super-hero name Invictus.
You do get to see a few different super-heroes here, each one is totally unique. The stories here are presented in an anthology form so they are continued.

Comments: "Fire!" Lynx gets to babysit Atomik Bombshell. The reader does get to see these heroes are people to. They have ordinary problems just like you and me. The two of them and three other team members engage a fire breathing dragon in the middle of the city. The women are illustrated as tough fighters while still looking gorgeous and sexy. The dragon is a powerfully illustrated creature of destruction. This battle turns into something a little different. Lynx and Atomik Bombshell start to form a relationship based on the fact they are teammates and teacher and student.
"Tales of Otherworld" Avalorr is a golden shining city of the Celtic Gods. The God of Thunder does stand ready to protect his city from the Trickster. Dara is a strong woman and self reliant she does not need anyone watching out for her. The Trickster does look to be a serious threat and give him a small army even more so.
"The Night Lili" Here magic is in use. The story is hard to follow as nothing that is going on is really explained. The black woman does exude evil which her claws help bring out.
"The Tale of Red Halo" Here we see Red Halo is somehow three people. The art is done plain. The story explains about who Red Halo is and thats it.
"Secret Origin of Agent Squires" Agent Squires gets to work with super-heroes all the time. He is atrained government agent yet he does get stuck with duties to look after the heroes. His job is not glorious yet it is a necessary one.
"Dossier: Atomik Bombshell" Here you get a very short telling of who she is and that is very powerful. The art here is plain so nothing about it jumps out at you.
These heroes are not just heroes they are regular ones who are doing extraordinary jobs. They are ones you can identify with. True heroes for real people.

Comments: "Atomik Bombshell" Atomik Bombshell and Lynx are teammates and they could become friends. Atomik does have a lot of attitude towards everyone. When she becomes a target she has even more yet she does learn to start accepting others. The person attacking her well they face her wraith. The art looks beautiful and shows Atomik off as a well endowed woman. She is shown using her powers very well in battle. Atomik does want to be friends with her teammates. She is emotional and wants others to be emotional with her as friends.
"Tales of Otherworld" Taranis and Dara present themselves before the Gods of Avalorr. The coloring is gorgeous in this story. Their return is a happy joyous one. The Gods and Goddesses act in a stately manner.Of course though things heat up as a attack starts and the action begins.
"Adoption" Vencejo wants to adopt Pollita he is an unrelated adult male wanting to adopt an eight year old girl and together they fight crime, so she will be in danger. It is nice to see superheroes do things that your normal ordinary people do. They have the same problems. Wow Pollita does love her new father and you better not mess with that. She is one tough little girl and will make a great sidekick.
"taranis meets tyr" Two Gods meet and have a brief scuffle and than the real threat comes. The little touch of humor was such a grerat touch.
The characters in these pages are exciting heroes who charge into battle.
