The first issue I reviewed was of vol. 2 series and this is second issue of series.
Major Sinbad characters: Sinbad, Quni, Prince Moqari, Kar-Tyr.
Space Schooner Pirates Captain is named Rhanjan Vix. The ship name is "The Blue Star".
Issue two takes up right after issue one ended. I appreciated art and story.
I never did understand how Sinbad and others could breathe on Mars. I found out from Darrin G. Davis that this was explained in first series.
I learned more about The Artifact talked about in issue # 1. I also learned artifact might be a weapon.
Prince Muqari is the last survivor of the royal family talked about in issue # 1 review by me. There were some battle scenes. Emperor Akdhar has been revealed more as evil person or the villain.
The story is continued in next issue.
I am going to try to find volume one trade of Sinbad: Rogue of Mars. I just can't get out of my head "Total Recall" movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I remember what happened to person that was in protected environment. The person died an awful death from Mars air.
I will try to find copy through library of graphic novel. I also look forward to issue 3 of Sinbad: Rogue of Mars volume 2.
This is what i found online about issue # 2.
The follow-up to the sold-out comic book series from "Ray Harryhausen Presents". Stranded on Mars, Sinbad continues his battle against evil Emperor Akdhar. Vowing to restore Prince Muqari to the throne, Sinbad and his loyal adventurers join a crew of Martian sand pirates, in search of an ancient artifact that could help them win the fight — but Akdhar’s sinister agents are watching! Also, coming soon "Sinbad Rogue of Mars" the film by Morningside Entertainment.
