Heqet, sometimes spelled Heket, is an Egyptian goddess of fertility represented in the form of a frog.
In the pyramid texts of Egyptian culture,
she guides pharaoh as he makes his way to the eternal stars sky.
In art, her form is depicted beneath the funeral beir of the deceased Osiris.
The frog is related to the annual flooding of the Nile, which is the greatest river in folklore & history.
It has been widely accepted & theorized that her name is the origin of the name of Hecate, the Greek goddess of witchcraft!
However, the link between the two still has yet to be established in solid facts.

The Egyptian Plagues
Frogs are the second magical enchantment brought up from all over the place & resurrected in order to ensure god's will out of the 10 biblical plagues.
The frog is supposed to represent the power of God & his ability to call into shape every living creature & thing because his power is so immense.
The frogs are believed to be a part of all creation of God, the maker. (His title.)
As the position of God, the father, God, the holy ghost
In Christianity,
frogs represent emotional wisdom as well as their physical properties,
they carry the essence and will of multiple planes of existence & trepidations.
Which they can carry through effortlessly in time at the ease of a sense of knowingness.
God casts his reflection in his feelings, as curse,
plagues in which the people were meant to repent & feel sorry for what they had done.

Animal symbolisms most often occur in the formulations of earth-based spiritual practices.
Today,
we have evolved in our thinking to tell the frogs in different ways by their markings & colors.
This is because, these types of frogs are most closely related.
Just as with most exotic breeds,
the more colorful a frog is,
the more dangerous & poisonous!
In South America few species are used by tribes to coat the tips of darts and arrows as weapons.
The most common are brown & green
& Typically live near trees & water.
In Germanic fairytales,
frogs can be found in water wells and can speak.
The blue frog represents wisdom and the element water itself.
It can transform from the water's containment with great ease.
This is due to the possibilities that frogs encompass.
They seem to shift in shape both naturally and heavenly in perfect alignment with the cosmos & nature.
Frog is a prosperous omen if found in dreams, especially if good news is heard.
Some frogs can actually change color at will.

A green frog is the luckiest & that's the way they are drawn mostly in art, even though they come in a variety of colors, shapes & sizes.
The most common brown frog species is dendropsophus microcephalus, also known as a tree frog.
The Frog Prince
The frog prince is the most notable German fairytale,
published by the brothers Grimm in 1812.
By tradition, it is the first story in their folktale collection.
the Grimms greatly treasured this tale, considering it to be one of the "oldest and most beautiful in German-speaking regions."
(Jack Zipes)
After dropping a golden ball into a pond-
under a linden tree,
A princess befriends a frog,
after he retrieves it.
In exchange, they have a conversation about life & love.
From here,
the versions differ vastly in alternative endings-
such as,
how the frog magically transforms back into a handsome prince.
In the original Grimm version of the story, the frog's spell was broken when the princess threw the frog against the wall, at which he transformed back into a prince,
while in modern adaptations, the transformation is triggered by the princess kissing the frog.
Some suggested that the story of the Frog King in the German tradition first began,
inspired by a 13th-century literary tale written in Latin.
