NMM x Night Love x Gothic Poltergeist Dictionary
By Definition,
A Poltergeist is of mid 19th century origin.
It means to create a disturbance & (ghost).
Because of the two terms conjoint meaning,
poltern (creating the disturbance) & Geist (ghost) but,
there are many different references to other types of spiritual activity,
solution & persistence!

The gravity in atmosphere of it's incarnations is weightless.
Poltergeist are known to manipulate objects, in real time & circumvent mischief in many forms.
They are part of a demonic haunting of epic proportions but, not the singular cause.
References of the Poltergeist are made throughout many fairytales,
although the letters themself are not used completely, but partly
due to it's mysterious & threatening nature of occult symbology & riddles.
The poltergeist avoids the busiest hours of the day in order to be the loudest when it can, usually when it becomes quiet & settled.
It's not really an intelligent being, but it is clever & emotionally manipulative.

Poltergeists like to react & mimic animal noises, scratching, clawing & biting sounds as well as changing appearances
to resemble them too.
They frequently take small form before changing into a larger one over lengthy periods, because it takes along time to gain strength!
Sometimes they are there for a long time before you come to notice because they cause instances of dissociation & delusion as well, nightmares & crying even.
So, occasionally it may look like a bug for example, than gradually something else small- maybe rats, than a dog to a child to a strong force of a powerful demon eventually, & usually something ugly or scary.
They like to haunt places where there is corpses or bones, sadness, sickness & death- even a lot of pent up sexual energy too.
Typically, they will not go away on their own as they gain a certain euphoria from abusing the same people or household over & over again!
NMM x Night Love x Gothic Poltergeist Dictionary
They will knock on doors & tables,
rearrange furniture,
sabotage relationships & start fires. Basically, anything to strike fear in it's victims...
You may hear them knocking on a door, as if someone is there,
open your door to find nothing and then as soon as you settle down they will start the sound up again in a nearby closet, room, under the bed or crawling, growling- basically anything it can to intimidate people! (throwing objects, rocking tables, walking back & forth. breaking things you own & sabotaging everything for no reason.)
They seem to have a deep attraction to Earthy environments or natural areas. People who isolate themselves, have a depressed nature or are going through stress.

A poltergeist is an apparition of negativity.
It can be an omen of something terrible or an unlucky supernatural phenomenon.
There are folktales of ghosts in history of similar hauntings.
The presence is a sign of a conjuring of evil or malice and oftentimes it is simply very angry & controlling behavior they exhibit.
Some people may mistake them for doppelgangers, due to their ability to imitate anyone or anything, really.
But, a true doppelganger is a death warning.

In fairytales of a shapeshifting nature,
there is a transformation which must occur to break any curses, such as in "Nussknacker und Mausekönig."
The Nutcracker & the Mouse King
(Love Wins)
This was written in 1816.
The storyline is of
a young girl named Marie's favorite Christmas toy, (the Nutcracker),
seemingly coming alive and bringing her to a whole kingdom populated by dolls.
The antagonist for the Nutcracker is the Mouse King.
He eventually overpowers him in a final battle.
The Nutcracker itself was adapted into a ballet,
a dance
reminiscing over the little girl who uses her wonder to draw in an inhuman match, herself going to the Land of Sweets on Christmas Eve! (The most wonderful place a child could ever dream of.)
However,
the desire for love is originally driven when she realizes that the Nutcracker was once a young man who had been set to marry a princess.
So he was cursed by the malevolent Mouse Queen into this form because he was too ugly to marry.
The angry spell takes over all who oppose him, but the love manifests stronger than the illusion does.
She takes pity on him & they transform spiritually into a whole new reality.
It's a story about enchantment & magic, but not in a careless way.
It's an example of how energy can take on a life of it's own, with it's own purpose.
Something so ugly can have an opposing force attached, like a shadow even.
NMM x Night Love x Gothic Poltergeist Dictionary
In Das Kalte Herz, (Cold heart, heart of stone.)
A person named Peter works at a Black Forest coal mine, which he inherited from his father.
He is unhappy with what he receives and wants more!
(Making deals with the devil.)
He finds himself face to face with a dark imp (which poltergeist can form into this shape too.)
(In fact people have known to make offerings to them to try to manipulate the spirit for their personal uses.)
He tells him he can have three wishes (which makes him very excited to hear this!)
The first wish is to be more popular & famous than his favorite dancer (better than the “dance floor king” legend.).(Ezekiel.)
His wickedness is a form of an unnatural emotional attachment to the heart. (similar to possession.)
Secondly, he asks the demonic spirit to let him have a glass factory because there is a successful glass factory in town and it's the richest one, (he's jealous.) so, he wants to be richer than this guy & have a better factory.
So, the spirit manifests this reality, but eventually this illusion fails too.
It's also sort of like a delusion which narcissus can go into as well, where they see greatness in evil acts but, eventually love is revealed as the true meaning of the soul's fire.
This is known to be his intentions is to find supposed greatness & splendor in a materialistic sense, instead of by working hard for example for permanence.
He wants everything delivered in prestige and richness in order to appease the evil desires he has & impress society.
The mine which his father left him was very low paying and did not make much money in the short term, it was dirty & stinky too.
To be a coal miner was considered a low class status working mans job in his eyes & to some in the community, due to the lack of glamour & he had little respect for his father.
The imp becomes known as the glass-imp and was considered by some as a forest spirit (a spirit who haunts forests.) & especially to the folklorists of this time frame.
Spirits have life spans like humans do & they can manifest into many ages.
Well, it's an example of the identity of the soul, or essence of people & places, which can change drastically even due to public opinion itself.
This particular spirit was known to the locals to manifest into storms and noisy sounds like thundering & crackling.
He is able to be said summoned by this poem" With the poem "Schatzhauser in the green firwood, thou art many hundreds of years old. Yours is the land where the firs stand, thou shalt only be seen by Sunday's children."
It's a German poem, and the poltergeist is a German origin as well, so there is very similar patterns in the making. Just as the demonic seems to manifest in threes. So, the test was to see if what he wished for would be foolish or last forever, so if he supposedly asked for the proper things, then the wishes could last. But, the spirit knows he has an evil heart so, he is basically just tormenting him in this reality rather than waiting for Hell.
He was giving him a chance to perform good acts, but instead he failed himself by being so selfish for temporary happiness instead of everlasting love.
So, the last wish which does him in, he is in a panic when he makes it. Due to all his popularity & so said success, he parties and gambles quite frequently, spending so much money until he is in debt.
Eventually, he feels there is only one option left & he's desperate, about to loose his materialisms he had acquired.
The next morning, after his last night of partying- a district magistrate knocks on his door to seize his glass factory.
Peter then goes into the forest in a wild desperation looking for a solution, so he seeks out "Dutch-Mike," who, unlike the forest spirit, is in league with the devil himself.
He demands Peter's heart in payment for money & help.
Peter is of course, ungrateful again & complains that his heart and the feelings attached to it only hindered him in life, so he has no problem parting with it for money.
In return for his heart, Peter gets a cold stone in his chest and 100,000 thalers a day and, "should that not be enough," Mike adds, "You are allowed to return to ask for more money whenever he seeks it."
The next day Peter begins a trip around the world & starts up his lavish lifestyle again.
He quickly realizes that without his heart he cannot enjoy anything, no matter how hard he tried! good or bad!
So, of course he goes seeking from the devil again where he tells him he can only get it back after he dies & also shows him the collection of other hearts he had acquired, which were quite large. But, he gives him a handout of money!
Peter builds himself a mansion in the Black Forest and from then on, he works as a merchant and debt collector with extortionate rates of interest in order to regain his losses. He becomes well known for this stinginess and garners a bad reputation, becomes uncharitable & selfish again.
So, he seeks a beautiful wife to be accepted again (Lisbeth.). She has a kind heart and tries to give the poor food and one time when she does, he takes a large wooden whip handle and beats her with it, killing her, because he can't stand to give any of his money away to anyone. (not even his sick mother.)
When the old man whom she had given food to speaks he explains that he is the glass imp & transforms himself to show him the same spirit he had summoned with his evil desires from before.
He also explains how Lisbeth was the most beautiful flower in the whole black forest itself, and the whole forest would be against him now.
Of course, because of his selfishness he refuses to even take accountability for killing Lisbeth & goes into a blind rage, actually turning into a monstrous being.
He then sleeps so badly and hears voices all night which tell him to “get a warmer heart”. He lies to everyone who misses Lisbeth by telling them she had suddenly went travelling.
Which instead of mourning her, the night terrors were about his own mortality. So, he becomes obsessed with his mortality & figures out his last wish.
He asks for his heart back but, the glass imp tells him he can't do that because it's part of another business deal he made with "Dutch-Mike" but, he does know how to easily trick him & gives him advice.
Peter takes out a cross made of glass, which he had received from the little glass-imp, and offers it to Dutch-Mike to replace the heart. This works because crosses repel demons and he takes the heart back to the imp for safekeeping.
So, the little glass-imp decided to reunite him with his mother and Lisbeth, who had come back to life!
He then has a son and works hard to earn his money, replacing all the evilness with love. (which prevails eternally.)
This is all in attempt to save his soul, which he cared so little for as he only desired wealth.
But, it only worked because he actually felt regret and emotions again, besides the highs of dignity & splendor, spending & being reckless.
He learned by working hard to regain his heart, how worthwhile life really was.
He starts a family of his own, with a son and the community accepts & welcomes him home.
