DMM - Mushroom Soup
Mushrooms have very magical and enchanting properties.
Some are very poisonous, while others are edible.
Such drugs are also made from mushrooms, both legal and illegal- which cause hallucinogenic effects.
Psychedelic mushrooms are known as magic mushrooms. So far, over 200 varieties have been found.
The use of hallucinogenics to enter euphoric & trance like states has been used since pre-civilization.
The reason is because mushrooms can easily enter your bloodstream, even without direct contact.
In fact, after about 20 minutes of eating one, this can occur.
They can paralyze or relax you as well. It's hard to tell the difference, after all.
In particular interest, is the application & usage mainly in the Egyptian culture.
They were considered very sacred to the gods and not safe for mortals.
You may have seen mushrooms in the tale, Alice in Wonderland.
This is because they are known to border lands of surreal places & states.
For example, fairies enjoy building mushroom circles as entrances to other worlds.

My favorite way to enjoy mushrooms is in a soup.
This is because they usually do not have much of a flavor and can be quite dirty.
After washing & chopping them, you will be sure they are clean, moist and ready to be filled with spices for consumption.
Wild mushrooms are quite dangerous and toxic, not only to humans but- animals as well.

History of the Mushroom
Cave paintings dating back at least 6,000 years have been found on walls in Spain, depicting the use of mushrooms in religious rituals and rites.
In Egypt, the evidence is also found to be used for the same type of safety & reasons as the rest of the world, yet more of an emphasis on selective usage.
Aztecs, Mayans and even natives to America commonly used them to transcend the Earthen boundaries into a spiritual and formidable wall of safety and seclusion from the bordering complexities of time.
Having taken mushrooms, there would not be a whole lot that your body would be able to react to, while however you will seem to go on a journey subconciously.
The effects of mushroom use will stay with you in your lifetime, indefinitely- it can be used in a positive or negative way.
However,
we know that mushroom usage was even more pronounced before these experiencers as well,
before pre-history even began!
They are a type of fungus and plant, both alive and dead similarly.
Many forests are saturated in them.
The Aztecs described them as the "flesh of the Gods."
True, they do have a likeness to the feel of human skin.

Well, there is over thirty types of them that will actually naturally glow in the dark!
They seem to mutate and evolve and maybe they are in the afterlife too.
A mushroom can also be called a toad stool.
There isn't much difference between the two.

Agaricus bisporus and pleurotus ostreatus are the most popular mushrooms in Egypt.
They have always been considered a delicacy, and were so rare and powerful- only the royals could eat them.
This is in part due to the knowledge but, also the different genetic makeup thought to be held by the pharaohs of the time, that may have even been extraterrestrial! So, they were thought to have certain immunities to these types of things.
They would have been used for healing in any regard and were certainly used for immortality rites.
The general knowledge of mushrooms at the time, was that they were a specialty.
Some people have even concluded that the temples seem to all be shaped in pillar bases, such as a mushroom's shape.
They were considered "sons of the gods" and "plants of immortality."
Truffles are a very fancy kind of mushroom, often found at the base of trees.
It was thought that the storm god Set created them firstly by sending lightning bolts coated in mushroom-seed towards earth.
Set is the god of storms and so therefore, he can control the growth of them.
