When my cousin Paul Leaird went on vacation to Peru, one of the places that he visited was Machu Picchu. A little history about Machu Picchu is that it was built in the 15th century and some historians say that the Inca people built this city. My cousin Paul felt the city was built by a superior race of beings, and the reason why, is that this magnificent city has all of these stone walls that used no mortar. Machu Picchu stretches for 116 square miles in the Peruvian Andes. My cousin wondered how did the Inca people manage to bring all of these stones to a high level of elevation, 7900 feet above sea level? My cousin Paul says that his tour guide was saying that this city was built in the 14th Century, but my cousin Paul believes its older than that. Machu Picchu is a mysterious place. A place where they used no steel, no mortar, no wheels. A place that has no written history. A place where the people vanished. Whoever built Machu Picchu was very interested in astronomy. There is a temple dedicated to the Sun God Inti. What is also interesting is that Inti sounds a lot like the Anunnaki God Enki. Is it possible that Enki of Sumeria was also visiting Machu Picchu? There were not many people buried at Machu Picchu and some of the deceased had elongated skulls. Why did some of the Inca people have elongated skulls? Who were they mimicking? Why did they bind their heads to create such a look? Does the elongated skull represent royalty or nobility? My cousin Paul said he left Machu Picchu with more questions than answers. A Peruvian Facebook friend named Mateo Diaz says that UFOs or UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) are sometimes seen in the skies over Machu Picchu. Mateo says he once saw a silver disc shaped UFO hover over Machu Picchu and then it sped off. Mateo said it went so fast, and it seemed to blink out. After it was gone, he saw the shadowy figure of what appeared to be a woman, with her arms and hands outstretched to the sky. Then before Mateo knew it, there were sounds of thunder and lightning. When there was a third lightning strike, the woman disappeared. Mateo thinks he saw a "Storm Goddess", his wife who also saw the UFO and mysterious figure on the mountain, thinks that they saw a "Storm Witch". Mateo says strange things happen on that mountain top. My cousin Paul says with his peripheral vision he saw 4 shadowy people move across the stone walls.
Another haunted place in Peru is a home called "La Casa Matusita". This home is considered the most haunted place in Peru. Legend has it that a Persian woman named Dervaspa Parvaneh was being harassed and tormented by her neighbors, because she looked different. Before she knew it, they were accusing her of witchcraft. On one night, her neighbors conspired to kidnap Dervaspa and burn her at the stake. Before they could set the fire, Dervaspa cursed the land on which she will die by fire. The curse was felt throughout the village, when a rich man came into town and built a home on the land where Dervaspa died. The rich man was a tyrant to his servants and on one night, when the rich man had some important people over for dinner, the servants, as a joke placed a hallucinogenic liquid into the rich man's food and drinks. The servants heard uncontrollable laughter coming from the rich man's guests and then the laughter abruptly stopped. The servants felt they got their revenge and opened up the dining room door slowly. To their shock and dismay, the rich man and guests were all dead. Some were dismembered. Somehow the hallucinogenics caused them to go mad and kill each other. The curse has now begun. After the deaths in this home and everything was cleaned up, the house went on market. A Japanese man and his wife purchased the house. They had 2 children. One day, the Japanese man came home early from work and found his wife in bed with another man. The Japanese man went insane with jealousy and killed his wife and lover and then killed his children. After the Japanese man saw what his actions caused, he then took his gun and killed himself. The curse continued for its final time when a TV personality took the challenge of staying in the house for 7 days. The TV personality went mad and is now presently in a psychiatric hospital. The house has now been taken apart. The locals now believe the curse has been lifted.
Back to Machu Picchu, according to Amy's Crypt, the Inca trail is very haunted and people on the trail have made claim that they have been strangled by an Inca warrior. Former ghostly priests are seen roaming the hillside wearing their traditional outfits and performing rituals. Peru is a very mystical place according to my cousin Paul. Paul mentioned that Peru has legends of a "enchanted bull" that once caused a flood in the city of Huanta. Then there is a demon called "the Chullachaqui. This demon likes to mimic people. It will go as far as mimicking someone's loved one. You follow the demon that now looks like your father, or your grandma into the deep woods. The demon then will change back to its original form and leave his victim in the woods lost and without food. The locals say the Chullachaqui looks like an old dwarf. Then there is "the Tunche" that hangs out in the Peruvian Amazon. The Tunche is an evil spirit and if it finds you, it will start whistling and will bring death upon you. Also, in the Amazon is the "Blister Beetle". The Blister Beetle is a large beetle and if you encounter this beetle, it will sink its pinchers in you. Your skin will be covered in blisters and the blisters will cause you pain and agony and may last for 7 days. The Blister Beetle is a demonic creature from the depths of Hell. After the beetle bites you, it will vanish.
