The requirements for religion were always entwined with the people and mostly the important verification from a political aspect. In order to be legally considered a religion, one must house many historical documents, proof of discipline and validation by the law. It's a basis for protection and solidification of words & text by the living mind.
Although we know that spirituality can be grasped by anyone else simply by the belief of something more than ourselves and beyond what we know. However, this is a great mystery and we have often found ourselves trying to map the truth through detailed logical patterns and outlines of miracles, secrets & wonders of many gods themselves. Along with these magnets and power structures other humans have left us in documented evidence, but the boundaries of our own existence expand drastically upon a point of death & transformation. Unfortunately, we have also created many monsters and demons with the self-proclaimed examples of good and evil. We judge by the reflections our eyes see before us. In our spiritual existence we are taught faith and to trust something more than the physicality, that life will go on or perhaps could even be better too. The threat of provocation for the end of the world, caused us to over analyze all the light grids and map constellations, shadows, actions and deeds of everyone around in order to summon the supernatural. Strength can be a number, or even expressed through will power too.

they can be a home away from home for some.
While a traditional bedroom is more personalized,
hotels are generally more empty & basic for the requirements
of waiting & hygiene. A stop on a journey or vacation.

Bedrooms their selves became popular in the 17th century by wealthy people who could afford to house alone.
They were considered chambers and were furnished usually with a four post bed for sleeping and maybe a few other things, like tables, chairs or a dresser perhaps.
They were limiting layouts, and you could only expect to dream and sleep here. For the fireplace was meant to be the heart of the home, so we put things there which inspire us and breathe life (in a spiritual sense...). These other rooms in a house, such as a kitchen and offices, living rooms were meant to be used as more public spaces- so the personality was usually removed.
The best hotels are great due to the location, basicness, cleanliness and privacy too.
