Aquamarine is called such mostly for its resemblance to pools of water, especially sea water. (Latin.)
It is usually found in the form of a crystal-like stone, with varying degrees of density, color & tone.
From several shades of green to blue, it is best used when it becomes gemlike.
The use of this beryl mineral is mostly for beauty but, is thought to carry spiritual properties within it which can aid in calming the mind, soul & body- specifically in instances of speech & verbal expression. It is frequently used with amethyst & rose quartz stones in order to aid in self-healing for emotional purposes, as well as self-love too.
Amethyst can strengthen our connection with a higher purpose and clear away past energy, which has become stagnant & dull.
Lots of jewels are polished and used as jewelry, decorations & more- especially in this palette of color senses.
The color of Aquamarine, as well as that of the Amethyst & other crystals can metamorphize with the use of heat & cold.
For example, lots of Amethyst crystals are charged up in the moon for divination and the sun to become bleached and clear away staleness, also baking them turns them a yellow brown citrine coloring.
A heated pool definitely calls for a different dress code than an icy one.
Pools can be found anywhere. They can be arranged into swimming or bathing areas, often providing joy & excitement for all.
Tears can "pool up" in your eyes when you cry too! There are many natural references to them in history & science.
Pools of light might draw your eyes in more easily than something else.
Pools of blood under us when we die violently.
Hearst Castle features a "Neptune Pool" & the "Roman Pool." Both built in the 1920's in honor of the rich culture of mythology & beauty found in Heaven & nature.
It's no secret that the Roman people highly prized Aquamarine, as closely as Emeralds and gold.
This is in large part due to the euphoric sensations they can seem to cast over us, eyes & all.
According to The Swimming Pools - Hearst Castle web page
at hearstcastle.org/history-behind-hearst-castle/the-castle/pools/
"The Roman Pool at Hearst Castle is a tiled indoor pool decorated with eight statues of Roman gods, goddesses and heroes.. The Roman Pool is decorated from ceiling to floor with 1″ square mosaic tiles. These glass tiles, called smalti, are either colored (mainly blue or orange) or are clear with fused gold inside. The intense colors and shimmering gold of the tiles combine to create a breathtaking effect.""Decorating the Roman Pool are eight marble statues. These statues were carved starting in 1930 by Carlo Freter working in Pietrasanta, Italy..",.
