Comments: The art shows a man who falls in love with a woman. They are happy together. Yet it is the man remembering what was. His condition now is not so good, he appears as a broken man. This is explained through the art as not a word is spoken and no word boxes or thought ones used. As the art goes on you can sense his loss is that of the woman he loved.
Than he speaks as he looks back on heir life. Victor as he witnesses Liz's death you feel his anguish. You know he will never recover from this loss.
Doctor's Frankenstein Victor and Liz are shown in Oak Ridge Tennesse at they worked there with other scientists, but on what is a mystery.
The art is dark and used to show off some gross moments as Victor operates. This is a different version then the "Frankenstein" the book and will change even more as it goes on.
Victor here begins to show signs of becoming a mad scientist. He is going down a path of no return. Love can drive a man mad and even beyond that.

Comments: This comic starts off confusing, there are Nazis, Victor Frankenstein, beautiful women and killing. Was it all a nightmare, probably. Victor for a mad scientist is drawn in a sexy style. His obsession as well is easy to see.
Victor misses his dead wife more than anything and he is willing to do anything to get her back. He is willing to push the bounds of science to get her back. Is Victory insane probably yet love can do that to people.
Victory is a mad scientist and he will not give up. His experiments with his dead wife come to an end.
The art brings across the futility of his quest. His wife well does make for a nice corpse and as Victor works on her she becomes more than that.
The comic does have a definite horror movie feel to it. Elizabeth is just something that will blow your mind. Where is this comic going next? Yes it is a Modern Day Prometeus with a twist. Whatever you expect this is different. Victor Frankenstein may be out of his mind yet he is still insanely brilliant.

Comments: Poor Doctor Victor Frankenstein he did so love his wife. We see how much it affected Victor when he lost her. Now he wants her back. Victor does bring something to life.
Victor does not give up and you can feel the love he has for Elizabeth his dead wife driving him to continue. You might feel pity for his lost soul.
The dreams Victor has are troubling. They show he could be losing his mind.
The story does center around Victor and his fragile hold on reality. In his dreams he sees things that may or may not be real. In reality he creates things that may lead to his downfall. Well downfall even more than he already has.
This is a differrent take on the Frankenstein tale and it will you looking at the Doctor a bit differently. His motivation here is different and his subject to. What he does bring back though is a question to be answered in coming issues.
The art does easily show Victor as a man on the verge of losing his sanity. His dead wife is gorgeous as a corpse with life in it yet you can see a hint of evil in her. The story could use a few more characters in it even just supporting ones.
Doctor Victor Frankenstein you will want to see more of him and what he does.
