Korean mythology
(Korean: ํ๊ตญ ์ ํ; Hanja: ้ๅ็ฅ่ฉฑ; MR: Han'guk sinhwa)
There are two types: the written, literary mythology in traditional histories, mostly about the founding monarchs of various historical kingdoms, and the much larger and more diverse oral mythology, mostly narratives sung by shamans or priestesses (mansin) in rituals invoking the gods and which are still considered sacred today.

Why is K-Pop so popular in America?
Mercury_Moon_Magazine_๐ง_K_Pop_2024
We can thank various social media sites, such as Youtube and others which have widespread content due to the open-ended copyright laws, which are almost non-conforming at all, allowing almost anyone to redistribute or share, without many restrictions.
Unlike America, where our record labels generally have strict rules to follow.

A woodcutter living with his mother finds a wounded deer who had escaped hunters.
To show his gratitude, he brought him to a pond, where fairies came to bathe.
The deer said he could marry a fairy if he tricked her by taking her clothing, which had it's own wings.
It worked and they had a couple of children together, but the woodcutter felt guilty and revealed his scheme.
The fairy grew sad and took her clothing and children with her to Heaven, leaving the woodcutter alone.

The woodcutter went out to seek the deer, who he had conversed with before.
This time, he sold him magic beans, from which to grow a beanstalk to the sky.
He finds her and lives with his family awhile, only returning to see if his own mother was well.
He was able to return to Earth, by use of a winged horse.

Due to the wild nature, he had been warned about getting off the horse as, it would swiftly return to it's home, without him.
He spilled porridge, which was too hot on it's back- so, it reared up and left him there...
