Comments: Sheriff Carla McCord is the sheriff of Kankakee a small town with a government research facility. The facility has a incident which it appears to keep fully under control thanks to a security guard. A delivery truck from there has cargo that was thought to be harmless.
Big mosquito like creatures escape and are loose in Kankakee. These things kill fast and as they fee they grow in size. The thought of these creatures roaming the land is terrifying. This comic book is like a horror movie as the story unfolds. The insect like creatures are a nightmare and the art brings across their nature.
Luis and George are two exterminators in Kankakee. These two go out to a farm to check their traps and what they find is a grotesque creature that is just waiting to feed.
Yes it is easy to see where this story is going and there will be even more death by blood sucking creatures. The Sheriff and the exterminators are the main characters shown representing the town that is now under attack from the insects.
The suspense is building and the terror rising. Be very glad you do not live in Kankakee.

Comments: Two exterminators find themselves facing one huge insectoid. The two of them find themselves in a fight for their lives. It turns out this insectoid can spread whatever is wrong with it to other animals. The two exterminators are characters. They make reading this story fun.
Sherrif Carla joins the two exterminators as they take care of business. The error builds as we see the problem is wide spread and the town is in trouble. At the research facility things are going from bad to worse.
The art does illustatrate these creatures as mutating abominations. They do need to be shown clearer.
For a story that should scare you it does not. Actually you may laugh at how the people act. The book seems to try to be a scary movie type of story while not actually making it there. The monsters do not act in a funny way and the situations are not only the characters are. It needs to decide if this is a serious horror story or a funny horror story.
Luis, George and Carla along wit the insect like Skeeter should be used better to present a more fun action packed comic.

Comments: Two exterminators, a dog and the Sheriff are out after these huge insects attacking their town. Our foursome are slaughting these things and the art is gore showing them and the people getting slughtered as well. These mosquito type creatures are a mess. If you saw one in real life you would be terrified.
This comic tries to be a horror comedy yet fails on the comedy part. The horror is there by having these creatures but there is no suspense or build up.
The characters you know little about for this type of story you do not need to know everything but a little more would be nice. The cretures as well you know little about them but this issue does deliver a couple surprises.
What is coming next? The creatures have their own plans.
There is lots and lots of fighting it is just not that exciting. Yes these creatures have a long stingers in front. Seeing them pierce people with them should be done to instill fear in you the reader. It does not. The thought of these creatures running free is scary.
