Comments: Layne Green is a sisteen-year old cook. Jang-Mi Pipper and Fron the dog are friends of his from childhood. As children they had fun and some wild adventures as they both discovered they love cooking. Layne is now grown up somewhat at sisten-years old.
Layne now has an internet cooking show. This leads to him being on The Voyage De Gourmet Challenge.
Layne really messed up with Jang-Mi three years ago. What he did is unforgivable. They have not talked in three years. Now they are teamed up on The Voyage De Gourmet Challenge.
The book gives you a introduction to all the teams in the challenge. All the teams are made up of so many different characters.
Layne really needs to think before he speaks.
The art is fun filled and beautifull illustrates each character and their personalities.
The competition is hard and fast as these cooks go all out to advance. Some go to far and cause problems. Yes there is drama. The tension as well between Layne and Jang-Mi is still going strong. It has lessened a little yet they are still not anywhere near where they once were. Layne does a good deed just for the sake of doing it, yes he is a good person.
The competition is very competitive and now down to three teams of two. Layne and Jang-Mi and doing much better as they get along better they do better in the competition. It is wonderful to watch them grow closer. Yet Jayne needs to do something to truly fix the rift between them.
The competition comes down to twwo teams Jayne and Jang-Mi vs Flip and Flop. Yes real live tiger sharks are involved. Layne makes a choice and it is the right one. This scene has been building and it delivers an emotional moment. This story really gets into how important friendship is.
This is a fun filled look at growing up and maturing, of making mistakes and admitting them. Layne and Jang-Mi both grow as people from getting back together. This story is filled with emotions and you will feel them to.
