Title: Sanction # 1 Publisher: Mad Cave Studios Writer: Ray Fawkes Artist: Antonio Fuso Colorist: Emilio Lecce Letterer: Dave Sharpe Price: $ 4.99 US Rating: 1 out of 5 stars Website: www.madcavestudios.comComments: Detective Smirnoff gives a homicide case to Detective Mimitrovich. The Russian police have attitudes. The art is lacking in detail. The colors using lots of blue works well with the type of story a crime one. Detective Mimitrovich is better than most at his job and he cares about, he wants the truth uncovered. He wants the murderer caught. He cares enough to look for the things others miss. He definitely does not present his findings in a dramatic way. The story is set up as a crime drama and there is drama between the Detective's boss and the boss's boss. Plus this case proves it is more than a simple murder. The more Detective Mimitrovich probes the more there is to find. The story is slow moving and the characters uninteresting. We need to know more about the detectives and the other characters here. The case itself has just started and it does not have anything overly exciting about it. Richard Vasseur
