Comments: Wow the art is a beautiful combination of the old and new styles. The new sub teacher at school Doctor Zardox now this guy is illustrated with ego and ego mania in mind. This Doctor Zardox is a real evil villain.
When the Black Hood shows up he is pictured in a heroic pose that is eye catching. He had a cool bike to.
The Superteens do a Power Rangers type transfer to Superteen, Pureheart, Miss Vanity and Captain Hero has his own unique way of transforming.
This is one exciting fun filled action comic as they should be. This is a how a super-hero comic should be. A vile evil villain, courage pure super-heroes and the set up to one awesome battle in the next issue. A cliffhanger ending. The cavalry on the way. This comic has it all.

Comments: The Crusaders are Steel Sterling, Mr. Justice, Captain Commando, Bob Phantom, Inferno, Black Jack and the Fox make up this one team. They are all drawn in poses that leave no doubt these are heroes.
Also the Bravo team of The Web, Capt. Flag and Firefly do not fair well as they are swatted away like flies. The Comet and the Shield arrive on site and they are drawn ready for battle.
Captain Hero really powers up. He is a reluctant hero but a hero none the less.
The ending to this story is a little bit of a let down.
The art is amazing in showing the Crusaders posing. Captain Hero aka Jughead is the only one shown in action. The crusaders needed to be shown fighting more.
Having all these Archie characters together Crusaders and Superteens was a great idea.
