Comments: Wow Poison Ivy riding a winged Snapdragon this is one incredible piece of art.
The entire comic is done in a 1966 style and feel in both writing and art. It is fun to see. The Bat Mobile is a classic beauty and illustrated to show it in all its splendor. All the things Poison Ivy has for fighting the Dynamic Duo shows an over active imagination. Not only are Batman and Robin here with Poison Ivy but also Bookworm and Batgirl. The art certainly does them all justice.
Now four certain individuals are up to no good and they have plans for Riverdale. Riverdale has become the focus of these dastardly doers.
Veronica Lodge sees trouble and she acts. She goes about doing what needs to be done when things start going wrong she calls for help. Help she reaches in the form of a certain cowl wearing gentleman.
This comic is fun, with wonderful characters used just right, the story is great as it introduces the main characters and sets up the story. The art is retro classic and out of this world fantastic.

Comments: Gorgeous classic 66' art style that fits the characters and mood of this comic so perfectly. The story telling style fits the old Batman and Robin TV series. It is light hearted and fun.
Batgirl and Robin are going undercover at Riverdale High.
Evil is a foot in Riverdale. The Riddler, Circe and Bookworm plus others are moving right in. Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman are the core group. These vile villains want to take over all of Riverdale. The art is so beautifully done throughout this issue. The villians and heroes and all the characters are eye candy for those who like great art. It is all wonderfully colored as well in solid shades.
The beach pin-up scene in the back you just have to see this. Yes Batman is in a bathing suit and so is Catwoman.
The retro style to this whole comic makes it entertaining. Comics can be fun and have a light story with mild villains. This is a trip into the past to relive the golden age of comics.

Comments: The villains are scheming Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler and Siren. They are all illustrated just like the old 60's TV series. All the Bat villains look and act just how you would expect them to.
The Archie characters are here but they do very little except for Jughead. Jughead does get to meet the Joker up close. It will be something to see these two playing mind games with each other.
This issue though does not have the appeal of the previous ones. It needed Batman and Robin in it more. Having Dick and Barbara being more the focus is nice but does not work as well.
The villains just hanging out at Pop's was fun to see. The four classic ones are so good together.

Comments: The Batmoble and Batman both grab you as you start this comic. They are illustrated in perfect 1960's art style. You will feel like your watching the old TV series. Nostalgia is a good thing. This version of Batman is not dark and brooding he is a fun super-hero.
Miss Kitka is the new teacher at Riverdale High and she gives extra credit. She is drawn in a short black dress that does look really well on her. Her an the other vile villains plans are moving along. Not any action but the villains are taking over. They just worm their way in. The Siren with her lovely voice certainly makes the takeover easier.
It is wonderful to see all the old Batman characters in action again and interacting with the Archie characters does add a new fresh take on all of them.

Comments: The gang is all here and also a gang of villains so is Batman though. The art definitely has the feel of the sixties TV series of Batman. The Batmobile is illustrated perfectly.
Jughead, Robin nd Batgirl were tortured but we see them saved. Jughead is in a trance until Archie helps him out. Jughead is shown as a messy eater here.
Batman, Batgirl, Robin and Archie and the gang face the vile villains. The villains have a army behind them. These frightful four are the most fun villains ever. All the characters are fun to follow as this comic is written using corny characters and situations.
If you love lighthearted fun you will enjoy this ride back in time to the sixties.

Comments: The vile villains have taken over. Batman is a prisoner but he does not give up hope. He has Robin, Batgirl and the Archie gang to rescue him.
Archie's car made up like the Batmobile is a site. Also seeing the gang spring into action against the forces of evil is a site as they do whats right.
This story unfolds just like the old Batman TV series. The art matches the characters t=from that show as well. Batman looks just how Adam West portrayed him.
Twenty-two pages of comic and fourteen of ads. That is a lot of pages for advertising.
Overall this is a fun comic that anyone who enjoyed the sixties TV show will enjoy also. There is violence and fighting yet it is all toned down for a general audience.
Batman's character is a great homage to the late great Adam West.
