Comments: Here we see the debut of the Arrow. A boy Cody finds a suit that uses Geo-Magnetism. The Arrow decides to use his powers to stop some local bullies. The illustrations of him in action using his powers look amazing.
Del Dixon and Cody Meekis do give the suit a workout. It also looks as if it will be getting more in the future. In North Bay, Ontario, Canada evil is ready to come for them.
Niagara Falls, Ontario and here you will not believe what is behind the Falls. Lots of gorgeous colors in this story. The Grey Owl meets Tundra and he gives him a inspiring and truthful talk about what is most important about a person. Tundra is part of the team the Family Dynamic which are a take on the Fantastic Four. They are different enough to stand on their own. The art here is more cartoonish.
The story of Gull Girl here has a beautiful illustration of her fighting a fisherman type character. The gulls in place of hands is something totally different.
Canada has its own super-heroes and they are pretty cool.

Comments: “Tale from the Pond” The origin of Crude is given here. Jessie Schurr makes a mistake and her life is changed forever. The art is magnificently done on Crude. She is illustrated to perfection. She looks like an oily mass of liquid. This is a great starting point for Crude’s adventures.
“Mob Mentality Part 1” Dominion Jack faces an old friend now a super villain called Mob. This story just gets started and then it’s continued. We do see some action it is just not presented that well. The art style is messy. The faces have too many think lines on them, so does the clothing. A lot of the backgrounds are sparse.
“Phase 1.5: Totally Shot” Colonel Steel hired The Fourth to kill Arrowhead. Things turn out differently. This story does not fully explain what is going on. Arrowhead is illustrated nicely to show off his power.

Comments: “Phase 2: Dawn of the Biodrones” The story starts off jumping from one time and city to another. Your interest will be peaked to know how these events are connected. Arrowhead must contend with sleeper agents here. Not much action and not much of a story. The characters though are good they just need to be used better.
“Mob Mentality Part 2” Dominion Jack faces off against Mob. They talk more than they fight. Mob is shown using his powers in a unique way, Jack attacks with just one hit. We could really use a little background on these characters. The art could have been better used to show off the characters.
“A Night at the Ecomuseum Part 1” Le Fantome and Samurai Diable both want to solve the missing animals crime. Both these heroes are illustrated in a nondynamic way. They need to be drawn more exciting. Le Fantome is a super-hero of the night and a mysterious one but still knowing more about her would help the reader to care more about her.

Comments: “Phase 3: Solid Ghost” An Electroencephalography Scientist robot that he can control with just his mind. This is a look at the past and how Arrowhead was back then. In the present Cody is the new Arrowhead. Who or what is Ookpik? Arrowhead looks amazing in his suit. The other robot is illustrated in a retro style that is beautifully done.
“Mob Mentality Part 3” When Jack and Andy aka Dominion Jack and Mob got their powers it changed both their lives forever.
Mob has his own super powered team and they are meant to break a person’s spirit. Jack has faith in his friend that he can bring him back to the side of good. The super powered team could have been illustrated better and with more imagination going into creating their costumes and looks.
“A night at the Ecomuseum Part 2” Le Fantome and Samurai Diable meet the villain Monsieur Royale. Monsieur Royle can control animals. The animals are illustrated great as fearsome beasts, the people including the heroes are illustrated to vague. Another hero shows up Love Tap. She is cute and illustrated stoutly. The story concludes here with the team-up.

Comments: "Atomic Nazi Fortress of Doom Episode One: Blood On The Snow" Dr. Gruber is a scientist for the Nazi's helping them with their nuclear program. The Red Ensign makes his way towards him and we see how he evades all the security. The Red Ensign is wonderfully illustrated as a patriot hero.
"Phase 3.5: Critical Era" This story is weird and hard to follow. The art is simplistic.
"The Bunker" In the Bunker a prison for super villains Mashup Dominion Jack's daughter and partner in super heroics finds things are not as they should be. Kid Control who has the ability to control minds has escaped and his mom to aka Takeover. These villains look well designed artistically. There is one huge reveal here for Mashup aka Jess. There is some nice action in the Bunker.
"Tales From The Pond Pt 2" Crude is a monstrous creature that will draw your pity. She seems so lost and alone.
Meanwhile a few teens are getting into more trouble then they ever wanted to. Crude is illustrated as a pitiful creature made of oil.
"Reunion Part 1" The Family Dynamic is under attack. But by who or what? The villain is drawn beautifully to show its evil side. The art which does not show any super-heroes is very well done. These super-hero's are done as heroic people who help out others in need. They save lives. Only in this story the first part and the second part do not really tie in together.

Comments: "Tales From The Pond Pt 3" The art is to featureless. Crude looks amazing as she erupts out of the building. Crude while being attacked gets some needed help. She may look like a monster on the outside but inside Jessica is a good soul. Others can tell and act accordingly.
"Making and Breaking...Mom!" Mashup is fighting Kid Control and Takeover. Mashup finds fighting Takeover a impossible task. Its daughter vs mom and father is in the wings. These are fresh new characters in how they act. Who is the man behind it all that is a mystery.
"Atomic Nazi Fortress of Doom Episode Two: Countdown to Destruction" The Red Ensign finds his destroy and rescue mission in jeopardy. Great art in this military story. Nice cliff hanger ending.
"Reunion Part 2" The Family Dynamic's background is filled in a little here. Gorgeous art but no costumed super-heroes. They do just send a quite night in. It is a nice change the way it is presented as the heroes are all getting along.

Comments: "Tales from the Pond: Part 4" Crude is nicely designed. He has a simple yet effective look. Crude is a girl or was. The story basically has Crude and a girl with her on the run. Not a lot is said about exactly what is going on. The art for the most part is simple with no frills.
"Atomic Nazi Fortress of Doom Episode Three: Sentinel of Steel" Red Ensign finds himself in a world of trouble with the Nazi's. This old style war story will have you on the edge of your seat as Brunhilda attacks. The art is beautifully done in black and white.
"All On Me" Dominion Jack is under attack. The story is confusing. Lots of characters but not enough of an explanation as to who they all are. The art does bring out emotions in the characters faces otherwise it is not done defined enough.
"Reunion: Part 3" The Family Dynamic are Canada's heroes. Now these heroes are a family of heroes. The colours are bold and beautiful. Blackbird and Little Wing are shown in a striking pose. This episode sets up the story and gets you ready and waiting for more next episode.

Comments: "Atomic Nazi Fortress of Doom Episode Four: Mountain Mayhem" The Red Ensign is in battle against a big fearsome automation called Brunnhilda. He has a gun and Brunnhilda has rocket launchers. There is one big explosion drawn here that looks devastating.
"Reunion: Part 4" The Family Dynamic are playing second fiddle to Blackbird as she goes after Tragedy Ann. These two are like versions of Batman and Joker except female and not as intense. Blackbird and her sidekick look great in action. The excitement comes through in the art.
"Tales from the Pond: Part 5" The art is way to plain here. The story does not make a lot of sense other than some guy wants to cover up what happened. The two panels that show Crude have her looking great.
"Delegate" Ottawa is under attack by a powerful super villain. A new hero comes to town and joins in the fight. This whole thing is a family affair. The story needs more focus to it. The art is done well enough and the action is drawn exciting. The new hero in town is the main star here. She moves with purpose. She is portrayed as only wanting to help others.

Comments: "Flash Mob!" Domino Jack breaks free. Now Jack's wives are fighting over him and there are two that are the same person. How did this come about, it would be nice to know. The art has a rough style to it that is not defined enough.
"Look Out Below!" The Canadian Sentinel jumps into action literally. He does seem to jump out of planes a lot and falls fast since he is made of stone. Why does his head look like an Easter Island statue? A little background on him would be good. The scene of the Canadian Sentinel punching Hitler is cute.
"Reunion: Part 5" Little Wing is excited to be a super-hero. Here we learn about the life of a super-hero outside of the heroing part. Little Wing is a positive person and this story brings that to the forefront. Plus the art shows her as really cute.
"Tales from the Pond: Part 6" Crude is an amazing looking being. Here though he does nothing but stand around.
"Atomic Nazi Fortress of Doom: Episode 5 On Thin Ice" The Red Ensign is in a war and goes into battle against a robot. The art is done in black and white which works for this story. The Red ensign is a hero that does make his country proud. He is a Canadian.
